Javier and his family are great people. Stopped in to the store looking for a solution to my broken fridge. Joanna was super helpful in identifying the part needed and confirming availability. I almost forgot all about Javier's and headed to Best Buy to buy a new fridge during a fridge emergency- but then I remembered Javier's had taken good care of me a few years ago when I purchased a washer and dryer. I had less than an hour to get there before they closed and rushed over. Within 20-minutes they helped me pick out the perfect fridge with more features and less than I expected to spend AND got it delivered to me in less than 24-hours. Home Appliance is the best. My 10 year old refrigerator was having problems, so I set up a service call on Tuesday, after Labor Day holiday. The Friday before, I realized my fridge had stopped cooling/freezing, so called them at 1pm. They said they were really booked but tried to troubleshoot with me over the phone. That didn't fix the problem, so Craig said he would have a couple service guys stop over within the next hour or two to see if they could get it going. I redid my entire house with appliances from Home. Walking into the showroom the salesman are helpful and really knowledgeable. They'll tell you what to spend on, and what not to spend on. Jeff was also helpful and wants to see you get the best service you can get. On all of the occasions that I went to Home the prices were better, the delivery was better, and the installation was done quick and easily. I did a lot of internet shopping and they beat all of those prices.Forget PC Richards, Best Buy, and all of those other places. The experience at those places could never compare. I highly recommend Javier's Home Appliance! They are a GREAT local business that sells appliances and provides repair services. We bought a new washer dryer from them and recently the washer stopped spinning. I called and they came out right away and discovered a small cloth was clogging the filter causing it not to spin. Our warranty was already expired but they didn't charge us for the service call, fixed it at no cost. Wow!! The temperature in my refrigerator was getting too warm. The freezer's temperature was fine. I looked around for appliance services on Google and still was not satisfied what I saw, then one of my friends recommended your company. They found out my damper assembly was not working correctly so they gave me a solution.until they ordered the part. I first used home appliance 2 years ago when my dishwasher stopped emptying, I spoke to Mark who told Peter the engineer, he called round the same day and fixed it promptly, later the same year I had trouble with my old fridge freezer, Peter again did a good job with that, no problem for him at all, he was very knowledgeable and I had a lot of confidence in him, he charged a fair price and I was happy. Last week I decided to have a revamp, I called Pete and together we chose a new washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. I was so pleased Pete helped me as he advised me which appliances would suit me the best, he was right. What do you love most about your job?
I love serving the people of Benfleet and surrounding areas and giving you a decent service that I would expect to receive. The joy and relief that you get when your appliance is back up and running is what makes me love this job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a company before setting up Home Appliance, I was not happy with how the customers was thought of. Making as much money as possible with minimal effort was the key goal. Using cheap parts and charging for things that was not carried out just to pinch a few extra pounds from the customers pocket made me set up Home Appliance so I can offer a fair and decent service. It still makes me sad when I hear that some of my customers have been ripped off by these kind of companies and their greed is terrible. I like to offer good value for money and to be open and honest with my pricing along with offering a decent service.
