At Holy Hog Barbecue, we specialize in high quality, mouth-watering, slow-smoked barbecue. We have a unique history as our family has been operating since 1979 with Pipo’s Cuban Cafe. For the past ten years we have had the pleasure of catering to our patrons in many counties including: Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, Pasco, Polk, and Hernando.

Really enjoyed visiting the downtown location this weekend. Easy bike ride from our apartment on Davis Islands, and found a seat at the bar for lunch and a brew. The bartender Melissa was nice enough to put the Lightning game on for us! Sam "da man" was in great spirits and made recommendations even though the line was out the door, and the staff worked hard to get orders filled. Will probably make this my primary holy hog location as opposed to other location in South Tampa. More...

We ate at Holy Hog yesterday for lunch. It was their peak hours, and everything was fantastic. In addition to our food being delicious- the staff was so friendly. It was clear to me that customer service is a focus at the downtown location. The guy who assisted me actually made a special trip over to see if his recommendation was a good one. Kinda disappointed to see that fried okra, green bean casserole, and smoked ham were no longer on the menu after not being here since February.
Would love it if y'all could bring these items back!!
Other than that, the food is definitely delicious and I would recommend this as a place to eat lunch or dinner.

Awesome BBQ place and fair prices. More than I could eat in one sitting for $11. Fun friendly atmosphere. We have had them cater to office lunches before and that was good, in person is much better.

Probably the best barbecue I’ve had. The collards were perfect. I usually eat hot sauce on my greens, but I didn’t even want to put any on these. The jalapeño mac and cheese is to die for. Went to the downtown Holy Hog location and the BBQ was seriously off the chain! You guys were slammed from the It Works conference being on lunch break, but the whole staff was still very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! Need a north Florida location!!
