Derek did an amazing job with our wedding. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception. He knew exactly what to play and he kept everything right on schedule and moving along. The dance floor never stopped and he knew exactly when to pick up the pace and when to slow things down. People had so much fun and so many people came up to us at the end and even went out of their way again to email, fb message, and text to let us know how much fun they had. Incredible. After our wedding we got countless texts from everyone saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to because of Holtie.
He reads the crowd perfectly; everyone from the 8 year old to my 58 year old dad was on the dance floor all night long. His mixes are on point! It's just enough so that you can sing and dance to your favorites, but the way he makes every song flow into each other was amazing.
Hands down, you need him for your wedding/event.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I take the dance floor where it needs to go. If I see people leaving the dance floor I quickly mix into the next song to keep the vibe going.

My style is your style. I basically take what the client wants and spin it out into the perfect mix.
