About

We’ve been inundated by negative messages about food, weight and diet. We’ve been told that we don’t have any willpower or that we need more control and, let’s face it, he majority of nutrition experts promote conflicting advice. The result is people are confused about what to eat, how to have a happy relationship with food and what it really takes to maintain a healthy metabolism.

Q&A

If you're serious about improving your health (physical, emotional and spiritual health) the best way to get started is to begin to pay attention to how healthy you are eating.

What I really love is seeing someone begin to take control of their health and achieve their goals. The majority of my clients are over 40 years old and work in Sa Francsico/ Silicon Valley in California. However, I've had the opportunity to work with clients from all over the world including Ireland, Prague and Mexico.
Online appointments make this suitable for anyone… anywhere! We can meet on the telephone, however, face-to-face or virtual meetings often lead to more engagement and interaction. We tend to forget that body language plays a major part in our communication. It is not just how you said something, but also your facial expressions and body posture. This is lost in a phone conversation. Plus, there are fewer distractions and you are less tempted to multitask. You can wear what you want, sit in your favorite chair, and participate from the comfort of your own home or office.
As an added bonus you will save time and money by reduced travel costs and time: reduce the costs of gas, parking, and time it takes out of your busy schedule to get to an in person meeting.

Like most of my clients, I’ve struggled with my weight most of my life. When I gained more than 50 pounds and was really having a hard time losing it, I decided to dedicate myself to learning everything I could about how to not only lose weight but how to keep it off.

I changed careers and literally made it my job. I became a life coach specializing in health and wellness, a nutrition consultant, personal trainer and eating psychology coach. I’ve spent the last 10 years working with individuals and groups helping them to figure out what it really takes to not only lose weight but to keep it from coming back.

Because you are getting a personalized program not a cookie cutter approach that is used for all clients.
Ask yourself the following questions:
What is my long term, end result I am hoping to achieve?
How much time and/ or energy am I willing to devote to this goal?
Am I really ready to do whatever is necessary to achieve my desired outcome?

First, be clear on exactly what it is that you want to accomplish. Do you want to lose weight quickly for a special event or are you interested in developing a nourishing and sustainable lifestyle that will keep you healthy long term.

Second, be willing to follow the advice you are given. Don't roll your eyes and think "I've heard this all before". Chances are you have heard it before, but have you really done it, really committed?

Third, change it hard and it often brings up a lot of resistance. Be willing to go outside your comfort zone. That's where the real magic happens.
