Holly Lander Hair and Makeup

Holly is amazing. She was fab from when she was 1st recommended. It was like she was ment to be. We struggled with other MUA'S letting us down and trying to over charge and then holly came along. She was so kind and helpful. We all loved her. She didn't just do our trail and on the day, she was there when I was having a wedding meltdown, I messaged her if I was unsure I'd picked the right eye colour or hair style and she put me at ease and came up with suggestions.
On the day she was brilliant, she did us all 5 hair and flower girl and 4 makeup, she made us all feel special, didn't rush and got us done a little early so had more time for photos and squeezing into THE dress!

Holly very recently did my bridal hair and make up and that of my four bridesmaids. She is very organised, professional and ensures that every one knows when they are needed on the day she is warm friendly and easy to build a rapport with. She stayed until we were all completely happy and topped make up up before the ceremony started and even brought along tissues.

I am deff not a hair and makeup kinda girl so Holly was fantastic at making me more comfortable and at ease. The trial was so relaxed but Holly was great at helping with what would look good and also happy to try a few things. On the day Holly and Claire were great, supper relaxed, calm and professional throughout the whole morning. I loved my hair and makeup and also that of the rest of the bridal party. As a natural control freak I was worried about everything in the run up to our wedding but Holly had been so great at my trial that I had 100% trust in her. Mine and my bridesmaids hair and make up looked absolutely perfect all day and I got loads of compliments especially on my hair. Holly did my wedding hair and make-up in May 2017, as well as my bridesmaid, my Mum and my Grandma. Holly was great with the entire family. She was flexible and relaxed during the build up and on the day, which really put me at ease! Holly came direct to my house to do trials which was perfect. Holly was really easy to get in touch with and would always reply on the same day if not within a couple of days, which makes her stand out against other wedding providers. I first met Holly at a wedding fair when I hadn’t even set a date or picked a venue for my wedding so hair and make-up seemed a long way off. However I never forgot meeting her and once the date and venue were booked I had no qualms in contacting her. Not being very clued up on all things hair and make-up I was concerned I was going to get very confused very easily and end up with nothing that I wanted, I needn’t have worried, Holly was wonderful! She put any concerns I had to rest and she did a fantastic job of looking after me and my entire bridal party on the day of the wedding. I love how organised she is with her schedules, I never had any concerns that no one would be ready on time etc, we even had time to spare! I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day, thank you so much Holly, I just wish I could look like that every day! Holly did the hair and make up for myself, two bridesmaids, two flower girls and mother of the bride on 27th May 2017. Within the package that we chose, Holly came out to complete a hair and make up trial with myself, prior to the wedding day in order to make sure everything was planned and perfected in advance. Holly was great at listening to the ideas that I had for my hair and make up and putting these into practice. It didn't take long during my hair and make up trial before I was happy with what Holly had done!
Holly's communication with myself with regards to timings and plans for the morning of the wedding were frequent and clear, which alleviated any stress regarding plans. Holly arrived bright and early and got to work in getting my bridal party ready.
Throughout my experience of using Holly's services, she was professional yet extremely relaxed and friendly, putting myself and my bridal party at ease. I was so happy with the end result of both my hair and make up and I could not imagine that anyone could have done a better job than Holly. Both my hair and make up lasted throughout the day and night, even withstanding some windy weather and being subjected to rides on a golf buggy for photographs! The airbrush make up that Holly used felt light and breathable and she was able to match my pale complexion so well. My bridesmaids loved what Holly did with their hair and make up, and were so happy with everything that Holly did.

Love love love this lady and her wonderful creations! I got married on the 1st September 2017 and was travelling from Manchester to Conwy. Nothing was too much trouble and she was super helpful and really cared about making me feel so special on my big day! As anyone know me would say, I’m not the girliest girl and not very hands on when it comes to hair styles and makeup but Holly made me feel so calm, she explained how she would set up on the day, asked what order we would prefer for my bridesmaids and mums to go in and went through all her preparation and what she would use. She listened to my questions and helped me decide on the best style for my hair type. She discussed how I preferred my makeup to be and showed me how it would look during my trial. On the day of the wedding she was so calm and organised and make me feel so at ease. The mums and bridesmaids loved her and she made us all look so beautiful. The care she took even after I got dressed, showing me how to take in and out my veil and how to touch up our makeup was so much help! Thank you so much Holly! I can’t praise Holly enough. Right from the start she was so professional and accommodating when arranging trials for me and a bridesmaid. She listened avidly and was able to recreate exactly what I envisaged. Initially I was conservative with my makeup and kept it very natural but as the big day approached I got a bit braver and told Holly she had free reign! Holly was so relaxed and so much fun on the day, she got on brilliantly with my bridesmaids and made the whole experience relaxed and fun, not a stress in sight!!
I was completely delighted with my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous. Everything lasted brilliantly throughout the day and stood up to the greatest test of all...dancing the night away. Holly did a fantastic job on my hair & make-up for my wedding day.
It was a very hectic morning; as I had a 3 week old baby & was trying to get ready for my big day. Holly made me feel so relaxed & was very patient waiting during feeds.
My Mum & bridesmaids looked stunning too.
I met Holly when I was heavily pregnant for my trial & she assured me, that she would look after me & she made me feel like I had known her for years during my trial. Holly too was pregnant & even on my wedding day - I had a 3 week old & Holly was ready to pop, she worked incredibly hard & worked wonders.

Holly provided hair and make up for myself, maid of honour and mother. I couldn't have been happier with the results, she created the looks I asked for with ease and everybody was very happy with the finished results. Her kit had a range of brands and was so extensive to the point that if I asked for something different she had the make up to hand straight away. She also used an airbrush to apply my foundation which felt light and gave a flawless finish, I thought it was fantastic!She made me feel so relaxed, calm and she added personal touches which made my day feel even more special.My hair and make up was perfect and lasted the entire day, she really did make me feel like a princess.I highly recommend Holly, she is amazing at what she does..so talented, thank you so much. I got married in November 2014 and absolutely loved my hair and make up for my special day, it was perfect. The trials were brilliant at Hollys house where we were made to feel very welcome. Attention to detail was spot on and on the day the bridal party looked stunning. I especially loved the airbrush foundation and my hair was just amazing- stayed in all day.
