Holistic Healing Hands

I have been teaching trampolining since 1996 and I wanted to be more than just a first aider helping children who injured themselves, but I did not know what route to take. I discovered reiki in 2003, which helped me through a life saving operation and I found out that I could work towards becoming a reiki therapist by getting some basic training in counselling and anatomy and physiology. After completing these courses I wanted to add to my knowledge and trained in massage and sports massage, as well as a range of other therapies, and I realised I could become self employed in 2007 so I decided to change careers. I was working full time as a software engineer, so a highly qualified job, but I was unhappy in that work and wanted to take control and responsibility for my own life so that I could have children and a job that complimented my husband's work without compromising our lives and forcing us into using child care. I have achieved that goal and continued to add therapies to my list over the years, always thriving to learn and help others.
