This is such a great hotel with so much to offer guests. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious. Even the General manager goes out of his way to take interest in you and your family.
They offered recommendations for things to do and nothing was any trouble what's so ever.
I will definitely stay here again and they are a credit to the IHG group

This was my second stay here. I love the location because its right next to the park and so there are lots of lovely trails along the river and lakes. The staff is always incredibly friendly. Hotel is looked after well and the rooms are nice. Swimming pool area needs a bit more attention, showers, sauna, steam room all need a deep clean. This is a fantastic Holiday Inn, despite being a little out of town this hotel has plenty of perks. It's located on a quiet campus just off the main road.
The rooms and communal areas are very nice (including rather large TVs for this sort of hotel). Additionally there is a spar and pool! I've been here for a couple of business events too, the rooms are very nice and lunch service is excellent. The restaurant food is nice too, although the portions were very large (not necessarily a bad thing)!
If you need a taxi into Peterborough, you can have reception call one, which typically arrives in 10 minutes and will cost £6 to the station.

I recently attended a works Christmas party. The room we were given was large and clean. With plenty of room in order that we didn't feel cramped. The food was OK, I didn't rate the soup but the turkey main was nice. We were all moved on to the bar which was large and staff were pleasant. It did feel however, that around 7pm, that we were no longer welcome so we almost felt forced out of the bar. Pretty silly as there were a large number of people spending money there. More...

Their conference rooms are spacious, and their catering is good quality. The only slight annoyance is that they take the food away so quickly (which had been placed at the back of the conference room), rather than allowing people to finish at their leisure.

Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food which came out hot and quickly to around 300 guests, something that the other large local hotel struggles with. Bedrooms comfortable with decent beds and good if basic facilities. Reasonable room rates for a large function too. Although I'm speaking only as a paying guest (of a charity fundraiser), speaking to the event organisers they also speak favourably of this venue from their point of view which is good to know. Been here before for a Company Christmas party, and for one night over, Excellent.
The food, the service, the entertainment, the room, and to be able to stay until about 3am at the bar.
This time I've come to a job interview, and again, even just having a coffee, the presentation and the were just fantastic.
