Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport

My wife and I selected the Holiday Inn CVG and couldn’t be more satisfied with our selection. The hotel was able to comfortably accommodate all of our guest for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our wedding guest traveled from over 5 different countries and 15 states to attend our special day. Holiday Inn CVG was literally a one stop shop, which allowed people to let loose and have fun. We are grateful for the excellent service and convenience to/from CVG Airport for our guest. I’d like to thank Sara, Sales & Catering Manager for her top notch professionalism. She had only been at the hotel for a couple months and stepped right in and showed up big for us. Every member of the Holiday Inn CVG staff stepped up and put their best foot forward to make my Wife and I’s day special. We were pleased with the setup, the décor, and the flexibility offered by the venue. Much respect to Holiday Inn for treating us all with respect and truly valuing us. Our son and daughter in law book a room every year for their oldest/our grandsons birthday party. They love it and one of these years we will stay too. There was a High School reunion booked for the same day but once she complained about it they gave us a whole room and a big tub of ice for the drinks. It was really appreciated. This Holiday Inn was terrific! The rooms were great! The staff was excellent.
The Breakfast Buffet was terrific. We enjoyed our stay for three nights while we visited The Ark and the Creation Museum. We will stay there again if ever in the area. The price was right too. Plenty of room...Nice pool, sauna, hot tub and workout room. Our grand kids were not bored!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and, despite being near the airport, we didn't hear any planes.
The hotel has a beautiful lobby that was decorated for Christmas. My kids loved it! Our room was clean and modern. Our bed was hard though. Also, there was no changing table in the main bathroom in the lobby. I went to change my son after we checked out and had breakfast and had to take him to the cold car instead. Of course that's not a huge negative but it was odd.
A special thanks to a member of the housekeeping staff, Lee from Walton, who was extra nice and helpful!

I am a flight attendant and I travel the world, I have to say…..this is one of THE BEST Holiday Inns I have stayed at. I am here approximately 2 times per month. The hotel rooms are always immaculate. The front desk is always available and eager to accommodate your requests. I watch them work diligently with guests as I wait for check in and they truly do give it their all. BIG shout out to CA and everyone behind that desk. They are the first impression and they make a good one. The rooms have refrigerators which is huge for a health nut like me or for anyone on a special diet, or mothers who need to store breast milk. They also have microwaves upon request. The fitness room has all the necessary equipment to get in a good effective workout with variation…..I'm a personal trainer as well, so this is much appreciated. They have a nice indoor pool for some laps, and a hot tub for relaxation. I have NEVER had a problem with noise in this hotel either. It's close to the airport, shopping, downtown Cincinatti, and restaurants. I have to give a shout out to housekeeping as well…..they were very responsive when I left a personal item in a room and got right back to me when they found in, and took proper care of it and ensuring I received it at my next stay. The restaurant and bar staff are always smiling. The transportation to and from the airport is always on schedule and those guys work hard. Huge shout out to all the employees at this Holiday Inn who work together to make each day run smoothly for their guests while making it appear effortless. See you all next time! =) More...

This was a first time stay here for my husband and myself. We We were in town for a wedding, which was about 12 miles from the hotel. There were other HI closer, but, honestly, we chose this for price. But walking in the front door was amazing. The fountain was beautiful. The receptionist was extremely polite and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean.
The only negative was I don't think they have enough help on the main floor. One time the girl in the restaurant had to run to the front desk to assist a customer at the front desk. She may have been there for a quick break, not sure.
I would stay there again with no problem. Even the fellow guests were friendly. Lol. Everyone was pleasant. More...

Was nice, pool great out of towels, but staff was one it. The only problems was for four there was only 2 towels and wash clothes. But was quickly fixed with a trip to the front desk, front desk was amazing and extremely friendly and helpful... loby is amazing, Hotel is a little dated.... Nice spacious room. Clean and updated decor. Bizarre to have coffee pot and ice bucket in restroom next to toilet and sink.
Appealing entrance to hotel with a huge fountain and greeted with friendly staff!
They offer a breakfast buffet for $14/person. The people there aren't happy or excited to serve customers. We should have had a free breakfast until 8am for our group block but they didn't want to honor it. I ordered off the menu and the waitress told me to get it myself from the buffet. Traveling for work at the end of the day you just want to crash in bed. My only disappointment I would have to say would be no complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby area. When I asked for a cup of tea, I was told restaurant was closed but they would get me some hot water. I was given hot water with two tea bags, no sugar or honey and a bill of almost $4.00! The rooms are nice, but the walls are thin, so mind your manners. House staff was very friendly and did a great job.

I booked this hotel last minute through Priceline as I just needed somewhere to sleep as I was making a 15 hour trek. The employees at the desk were nice and welcoming and checking in went smoothly even as I had just booked the hotel 20 minutes before. You can tell the hotel is somewhat old, and they have tried to update it, but it's still not fantastic. However, is perfectly fine to just rest your eyes in! I always need a fan to sleep, and since the air conditioner didn't have the option for the noise, I called the front desk to see if they had one. 5 minutes later one was delivered. Words cannot express how amazing my wedding reception was at Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport!! My coordinator, Ashley White was simply amazing. She was always in constant communication with me and if I had a question about anything she would always get back to me ASAP, she also handled any hiccup with complete professionalism and grace....simply put, she is awesome! The venue itself is great! I have gotten sooo many compliments on everything from the amazing food that was being served, to the cocktail hour, the gorgeous decorations and the wonderful staff! Everyone at the Holiday Inn really went above and beyond the hospitality we were expecting to get. The staff was so friendly and inviting, they were constantly making sure that everything was going the way we wanted it to and checked on us to see if we needed anything all throughout the day. We were also surprised when we finally got up to our room that they had been so thoughtful to give us two of our favorite beers/Champaign and some of our wedding cake that we didn’t get to eat, plus more!! The staff also handled an emergency situation with complete professionalism and were very discrete about it, I truly cannot thank them enough for that. I could never imagine having my wedding reception at any other venue. The decorations, staff and overall experience was simply amazing and I would just like to thank the Holiday Inn staff for really making our day so special and wonderful! I've stayed here a few times while here on business in the Cincinnati area, it's a rather large property for IHG. The staff has always been friendly but be prepared to do a lot of walking the rooms are quite a hike off the lobby's main entrance. I do like it's close proximity to the airport and there are some nice places to eat close by. Over-all I've had good experiences here it's quite and comfortable and a Starbucks off the lobby if you can catch them open.. More...

My wife and I stayed at the Cincinati Airport Holiday Inn this past April while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It was a very nice and spacious hotel and the staff was very cordial and friendly. We were dazzled with the lobby and the fountains in the lobby. It provided a peaceful and relaxed environment. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The only complaint was that a free continental breakfast was provided for our stay. I've stayed here probably 10 times and have always been very pleased. They provide a reliable airport shuttle and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We've hosted happy hour for our customers at McKenna's (the onsite restaurant & bar) and the food and service in the bar were great. We stayed here in June while we were attending Bunbury. Definitely thought it was closer to where the festival was taking place. Haha Not a big deal though.The guest services were AMAZING.What really impressed me was this:There was a wedding party staying in the hotel. One of the guys had a room directly across from us. He invited us to hang out in their room and play beer pong. Well, we got loud (duh haha). An older gentleman from guest services came up and told us: "You have two choices - shut the party down... Or pack everything up and go to the lobby." We were STUNNED. It was so cool of the management/g.s. to understand their guests needs/desires like that. We partied in the lobby/terrace area until like 4 or 5 a.m. because there were no rooms nearby that would be disturbed.Brilliant!We will probably stay there again next year for the festival.We can't remember the girl who was so great when we checked in (Emily or Lauren maybe?) but if she is there again next year I'm giving her a hug. Was in town on business at the nearby commerce park. This hotel is very nice, although a little dated. The outside could use a little modernization, however the inside is fairly nice. The front desk staff were very friendly, and made the check in process very fast. I was delighted to find a modern looking room when I arrived, however the bed was hard as a rock, no pillow top or anything; which made sleeping a little rough. I did like that the room had floor to ceiling curtains that blocked the street lights outside. I also liked the fact the this hotel didn't have the typical window unit AC. Rather it had a central air unit. The downside was, I had to set the unit on 65 (lowest setting) to get it to 70 in the room. The breakfast was okay, typical breakfast Buffett, with the typical hotel breakfast price ($15). I will stay at this hotel again when I'm the area. More...

I've been attending conferences in this hotel for a decade. After our 1st conference, I was so impressed with the staff that I urged our director to use them again, and we have done just that. The facilities have some age but are well kept and very clean. The food is good, although not wonderful. The full bar is nice and a large atrium is a nice place to gather. Conference rooms are nice with decent climate control. The location is a few minutes from the airport & the NKU Mets Center (shuttle available) as well as many restaurants. It is also a short drive to many attractions in Covington & Cincinnati, depending on traffic. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are always polite & always helpful. You feel like everyone on staff would lose sleep if they thought your stay was in any way unsatisfactory. A reasonable option with a full service restaurant and bar and good shuttle service to the airport. Pay attention when they say get there early for the shuttle in the morning - a popular choice for the airlines to house their flight crews the shuttles are very full for the early morning runs. They took a large group to a nearby eatery for us and managed our gang at the bar very well. If you stay at Holiday Inns a lot you will know when I say it is in the top 10 percentile of their full service hotels and is well managed, an older property with a strange layout that is well maintained with a well managed, kind and attentive staff. We recently met here for a networking event for about 40 people.  They provided appetizers that were really good.  The drinks were average prices and the room was your typical hotel bar area.  I did like the water fountain area as you walk into the hotel.  The server did a great job.  The restrooms were clean.  They have plenty of TV's to watch if you want to. Hello Fellow Yelpers.Does anyone really care what I write here?  Anyway,  I had to meet a customer from lunch and didn't have a lot of time so we decided to have lunch here at the hotel.  I have to admit I thought it would be lame but it was actually very good.  Service was excellent, there were a lot of people there having their "power" business lunches.  For hotel food it was tops and the prices were reasonable.   Turned out to be a good choice after all.
