Nice hotel easy commute in and out of london car park tight but ok staff very friendly unsure about some of the people coming in and out at night out guest felt insecure with them I thb possible staying in hotel from local council This is only a guess otherwise the hotel was great for what it was great view of canal

Checked into 2 rooms with my wife and 5 pesky grandchildren. She had the girls, I had the boys. Rooms very comfortable and quiet, (once they'd got to sleep). Lovely area by the canal and locks. A bit out of the way for central London but with the nearest tube, Boston Manor, being on the Piccadilly Line and the E8 bus (every 8 minutes) dropping you on the doorstep of the hotel really easy, no effort. The staff is everything you would expect in excellent customer service. They go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The manager Chris is absolutely one of the best managers I’ve ever encountered in my travels around the world. This is a very clean hotel and the beds are extremely comfortable. It’s conveniently located near shops and restaurants, and also the Underground. The hotel is only “1” block from Wembley Stadium which was a huge plus for us as we were in London for the NFL games. The one major dislike is the car service that the hotel is contracted to use for guests, which is Angel Cars. That is ABSOLUTELY the worst car service and guests should NEVER use them. Angel Cars has the rudest most disrespectful staff we’ve ever encountered! They have “0” customer service and their fares are much higher than Uber and other car services. The ride experience was like a scene from a bad movie. We didn’t even feel like we’d get to our destination safely. Other than the horrible car service this is a great place to stay. More...

Stayed one night at the hotel before moving to the city. We stayed in a room for 4 pax. Members have the privilege for late checkout at 2pm. The breakfast spread was alright. This is a great hotel. Very nice location, near nice restaurants and a lovely river with ducks.NOTE: IHG does not count corporate travel for purposes of their rewards program. From the outside the property may not look its best but when you enter the lovely clean reception area and friendly staff make up for this. Room was lovely overlooking the lock, very clean. Stayed here for one night for my friend's 50th Birthday party. Room was very clean, all staff were great! Breakfast was superb and their was one fresh fruit berry smoothie that was delicious. ||||As an IHG Member, I was given a late checkout time of 2pm, to my surprise. Totally took advantage of this by going for a long walk after breakfast with family around the lock.||||One minor thing, the bar staff, forgot to clear one table on the night of the party, but immediately went to do so when asked.||||The hotel is very clean throughout and the lobby and surrounding areas are very well decorated.||||This was the best Holiday Inn experience I have every had. ||||Thank you Brentford Lock More...

Room and bathroom very clean. Staff very pleasant. Dinner in restaurant very well cooked. However the management seem to have taken their eye off the ball since our last visit. Stayed 3 nights on a very good bed, breakfast and parking deal. Also we have Gold Elite status. Online bookings always allow you to preference your stay. I asked for extra pillows. No extra pillows in room but some were brought to us quite quickly. Reception said housekeeping did not have access to preferences on their computer. So surely reception should tell them! Breakfast first morning - heated dish stand not switched on so all plates cold. Waitress when asked for a hot plate said "I do not have any". I said never mind I will mention it in my review. She immediately fetched me a hot plate! No English Breakfast tea bags. Again waitress fetched me one when asked. Breakfast 3rd morning - no tomato ketchup, semi skimmed milk needed refilling. Does no-one walk round at breakfast looking what needs refilling?Dinner we ordered tuna and lamb. 2 tunas arrived. So of course I had finished my tuna before they had cooked my husband his lamb. Then no-one came to remove the plates. We had to signal staff to do that and ask for a dessert menu. No-one came back to take our dessert order After 15 minutes we signalled again to make a member of staff come to take our order. The hotel was very busy but staff still had time for 3 of them including a "suit" to chat at the bar getting a coffee whilst we were trying to attract their attention to order our desserts. 5 stars for location. If you want to be somewhere near the airport and still be able to get to the town centre relatively quickly, this is such a great location. We as a team had meeting there for consecutive 3 days.The conference room was well maintained and food was nice. We had breakfast tea coffee with some canapes. Good stay overall but breakfast could be better for the price. Eggs were not great, or pancakes and no oatmeal. The cereal serving bowl has large spoons that push the cereal out as you're trying to get it out. Nice place and great staff.
