We have experienced all kinds of boarding and grooming options for our dog Max but Holiday House is by far the best experience. You start with the beautiful grounds and surroundings and then you meet caring and competent people dedicated to caring for your pet. This is the first boarder that my dog doesn’t panic going in and never comes home with a lost voice like he did with the other options. Absolutely love this place, our pups loves it here while we were away Hunter was in training and I can tell he is so much more calm than before he is 3 months old and was being a puppy. We are so glad to put him through training while we were away. We came back to loving pups. They have been so helpful with any questions we may have. Also the picture updates daily were wonderful to know that they are doing great while we were away gave us a peace of mind that they are well taken care of. Had my dog groomed at the Spa on State Street and he looks adorable. Mary did a great job and was very sweet and gentle with him. I'm so excited to have found Holiday House to board our cat! We're going away over the 4th of July and need a special place for our very sweet 16-year-old cat who needs medication every day. Not only will they be able to accommodate her medical needs, but they'll provide her with her own room (not a cage!) with a window, a cat condo and one-on-one time with their staff. My dogs are always well taken care of and in excellent shape when I pick them up from boarding. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they are expensive for the best package which my pups deserve. I've enjoyed Holiday House so much, and more importantly, my dog loves it too! Our pup has been boarded here twice, and Holiday House offers a package where they send you a photo each day of your dog enjoying their time! LOVEEE IT!! She also is a frequent bather here and they have adorable bandanas that they put on your dog for their return home. Our dog is very cautious around strangers, but she runs right in to holiday house when we pull up. We were thrilled to find Holiday House for our two Great Pyrenees care. Until last summer, they had never been boarded anywhere (and they're 9 years old! ) After researching numerous facilities in the area, there was no question that Holiday House was the best for them: the on-site vet care, the facility for exercise on the grounds, the bedding that these older, bigger dogs need, the individual care, the detail for cleanliness that we observed, the amount of "open-air" kennel space - - - all of it combined what what we really needed! We just picked our puppy up from Holiday House and were very impressed with how thorough they were with him for his 10 day boarded training. Prior to arriving, he wasn't very responsive to his name and that has greatly improved. He also learned 12 basic commands that we'll continue to reinforce from home. Brought my 5 month old shepherd in for an evaluation. He’s never been handles by anyone else before and I wasn’t sure if he would act up. I have a very active 10 month old German Short Hair Pointer. Something came up and I needed to put him in day care for a few days. Everyone that I have met at Holiday House is extremely knowledgable about animals and very friendly. It can be 6:30am or 6:30pm the staff interacts with your pet and you with excitement and curtesy. My dog runs to the door in the morning and is fatigued when I pick him up. The staff always have a story for me about some interaction that day. Friendly caring employees, daily pics helped reassure my dog was ok. Progress report at end of stay was nice touch. The women at the Spa on State always take great care of my dog Chance. He has some separation anxiety so I'm always a little worried how he reacts once I'm gone, but they always reassure me that he is a calm little love bug when he's there!
They also do a great job with a wash, cut and dry on his triple coat!

This place is amazing. We highly recommend Holiday House. Our pet is very cautious and obviously we were concerned when we first dropped her off for a test stay. She LOVED her experience and we just completed their two week training course. It is like we have a new dog. We are planning on only using this resort going forward for our dog's day camp and also overnight stays.
