Talk about Good Food - for Years!  We found Hog Wild BBQ 4 years ago for a backyard birthday surprise party (Mine! Actually Jen found them) and 4 years later we had them back for our 4th of July Blowout party two weeks ago.  The food was amazing.  The team was on-time, smoker in-tow and smelling great!Terrific communication from the quote for the party, to follow up days before.  Everyone raved about the whole scene - but mostly the food!  I have a few pics that guests took, but I wish I had more of the final prep process, and serving trays lined up.We enjoyed Pulled Pork; Brisket; Cornbread; Smoked Mac-N-Cheese; Coleslaw; Rolls and Pig Juice - and while everyone said they were full (some even went back for seconds!) we had plenty of leftovers for the next day, or two.  Thank you again to the Hog Wild BBQ team.  We will continue to recommend and patronize your business!!!Jen & Raymo ~ More...

I'm giving 5 starts 'cause I can't leave 4 1/2. Here's the deal. The BBQ was good. Ribs were perfectly smoky and fall off the bone. The pulled pork had a lightly smoked flavor. Would have preferred to have it more pulled, but hardly worth mentioning. I ate the brisket with a fork, no knife necessary, as it should be. At first I thought that $3.99 for a side of cornbread was a lot, but when it arrive, we got a 5" x 5" slab covered in melted butter and honey. Awesome. The slaw was decent, I would have preferred a thicker dressing, but it was tasty. TWO COMMENTS - 1) IMHO, good BBQ should speak for itself without sauce. They normally sauce the meat before service, which I really don't like. Don't sauce the meat. Let US do it, and give us a few sauces to choose from. 2) I wanted to see collard greens as a side, but there were no form of greens at all. Not a HUGE deal...who knows, maybe they tried and they didn't sell, but I'd like to see SOME form of greens on the menu.Other than those 2 comments, the food was really good, and I recommend it! I have tried the pulled pork, pulled chicken and the Angus brisket. All 3 were amazing. I would highly recommend their BBQ and now I don't have to drive to Ridgefield to get BBQ. I will also be requesting them to do a pig roast at my event in the summer. More...

Hog Wild did an amazing job today at my brother -in-laws retirement party ! Bill is so friendly and very knowledgeable about roasting the giant pig ! It was a spectacle to behold and all the guests were truly entertained . Then you get to taste it !!!! WOW! The pig was just outstanding! Tender and delicious with a subtle smokiness. What a fantastic experience! From the moment I reached out to Hog Wild to see if they had my date available to cater a 40th birthday party with 50 guests to the week after the event when they followed up to make sure we were happy with the outcome I could not have been more pleased. They were super responsive and returned calls within an hour, worked with me to create a custom Lobster bake/brisket menu, and were very professional with immediate emailed copies of receipts and contracts. Did I mention the food The BEST steamers I've ever eaten: no sand, not chewy, and served in the cutest burlap bags. The Lobster was so sweet and already cracked. Guests said they had never eaten so much Lobster in one sitting!! The corn was delicious and I even found myself eating the kids chicken fingers!! And the brisket was mouthwatering! More...

Attended a wedding catered by Hog Wild BBQ! Brisket was fabulous! Chicken cup cakes - so yummy! Sirloin Tip - outstanding! My dealership regularly gets lunch delivered on Saturdays and it's always the usual fair- pizzas, subs, pastas and the occasional Spanish food.  Wanting to change things up, I contacted Bill, the owner of Hog Wild and he was more than accommodating for our needs.  He was able to price out my budget and immediately get me an itemized menu to choose from.  The food was delivered promptly on time on one of the busiest Saturdays all Summer.  It was hot in the pans and smelled amazing.  My coworkers absolutely loved the smoked pulled pork and plowed through the entire pan in less than an hour.  The BBQ sauce is out of this world and added a tang and just the right amount of spice the sandwiches we made with the rolls he provided to go along with our order of Mac and Cheese and Coleslaw sides.There was literally not a shred of food left at the end of the day and we will definitely be ordering from Bill and Hog Wild again soon!!
