Excellent food, it was all delicious but I especially liked the lamb. Very friendly service. I have already recommended this place to my family. Definitely worth the try!!
Excellent cuisine and very good service.Catered for a small group of family and friends for a birthday dinner with wonderful service. Two thumbs up.
Five of us went for dinner, 3 of us had: mini dips platter - excellent, the mouhambra and cilantro jalapeño hummus had a nice light heat; fried cauliflower - excellent, the homemade tahini is delish; mouhambra - very good not too hot; labneh - excellent all agreed; meat stuffed grape leaves very good with light lemony flavor; chicken shawarma had a great flavor and the beef shawarma had a good flavor but was a tough gristle filled piece of meat. We ordered but did not receive the grilled halloumi cheese and tabouleh but didn't remind them as we had plenty of food so they removed the charge. Two of our party chose to order an entree and ordered the lemon thyme chicken fillet which was awful. The chicken was extremely overcooked, tough and dry, and the summer grilled veg - dish (zucchini) was overcooked to the point of mushy. They removed that charge and gave us baklava to go as a makeup - it was superior. I would definitely go back and stick to shared dishes. More...
The people here are are super friendly, the food is delicious, and it's one of my favorite date night spots. Parking might be hard to find but it's a fun neighborhood for walking.
This is a neighborhood classic, I have been going there for many years now with friends and family. They also cater some of the summer festivals with a cart/tent setting. I love this place, Lebanese cuisine with very flavorful dishes, delicious pitas. I honestly have a weak spot for their lamb dishes, but the other meats are also very good. Plenty of delicious vegetarian options too. Don't miss the halloumi cheese. More...
Awesome baba ganoush and pita. I really liked the lamb also. It gets a bit hectic and the staff struggles to keep up. But you really get a feast for the price and leave quite satisfied.
I went on a holiday and they changed the menu. There was some question about how the items were written on the menu being the entrees having salads come with them or not. I figured because of the volume of people our food came late but it was delicious. Great date spot when they aren't busy. More...
One of the best places to eat in Portland! The food is so good, they have the best falafel I've had anywhere. The staff is friendly and nice, and you can really feel the caring and effort you only get from a family owned small business. Value is surprisingly good, and I've never left wanting more food after. Their baba ganoush is also great, and they always have freshly baked pita. Highly recommend. More...
I was in Portland a bit ago, and I visited this place.
I don't think I would have looked twice if just waking by. Looks like a hole in the wall. Food was exquisite though! Would go again! More...
Went for a tour and we absolutely loved the place! Very flexible with catering options. It's the first venue we have gone to see, and we have our heart set on it; not just because the view was breathtaking, but because Hani and Hoda were amazing as well. They were extremely welcoming and friendly and just made the tour experience pleasant. We are so excited to have our wedding here and have our family experience the beauty of this place and the wonderful owners. More...
My wife and I were married here and we absolutely loved the beautiful location and flexibility of this venue. We were married in April and were very worried about the possibility of rain, so we planned to hold the wedding ceremony in the chapel. Instead we lucked out and were able to hold the ceremony outdoors and have the reception inside. I won’t get married here again, but I’d love to celebrate a different occasion! More...
Lebanese food, mmm, yummy. The service was friendly and sociable. It has a nice interior.
This is by far the best Lebanese restaurant in Portland. Amazing service, baba ghanoush, generous servings of fresh baked pita, grass fed beef, and great wine! Other places in the area are good but don't compare. More...
What is not to love about Hoda's? 0What's there to love about Hoda's? 1,000,000 things! If you manage to go there before peak hours you will have a blast sitting and listening to the bustle of the waiters, the cooks, the hosts, the guests, the people coming in and out for take out. The place can get packed very quickly so I recommend going there around 4:30- 5 pm for an early dinner. I would also like to showcase their authentic menu and their support for local growers. They buy their produce and meats from local farmers and that in my book is remarkable. You can check where their produce comes from by looking at the board they display on the wall at the far end of the restaurant. More...

The venue is so beautiful and the owners are so relaxed and helpful! They have planted new flowers and trees, and there is additional parking below the venue site that has a short trail straight to the venue. The area for the bride and groom to get ready in is also amazing! More...
We had our wedding in mid-July, and it was everything I hoped it could be! We signed our contract with the previous owners of Cape Horn Estate, and when we found out the venue had been sold to other owners, we were worried at first. Hoda and Hani, the new owners, were extremely accomodating, excellent with communication, and easy to work with. They made several wonderful improvements to the venue, and it was a wonderful day for us! They bought the property below and have more parking for guests, lent us vases because ours blew over in the wind, and even had cold waters for the bridal party since it was much hotter than we had expected. Our guests also thoroughly enjoyed the venue and scenery. The only setbacks we had were we didn't check the train time table, so the train went through my vows and the mosquitos were very hungry that night. If you plan your event with Cape Horn Estates, you will have very professional service and I hope your experience was as positive as ours. More...
Our wedding and the view has been a constant topic ever since our wedding. An awesome venue with a 1000 options for customization
Wonderful food and service. Highly recommend Hoda’s when in Portland!
Hoda's always has exceptional food and service. We had a great time and we will definitely be back for more. Their homemade pita bread is to die for and the ice cream with Turkish coffee for dessert was heaven.
Thank you for the incredible buffet that all of us (130 + women) partaked at our @2nd Annual Wild Women's Campout our in the wilderness of Vernonia, Oregon .... the food was exactly what we all needed, vegan and vegetarian... we were out under the stars, dancing, singing around the fire under the beautiful sky of a million stars. The food was so filling, delicious and I am going to visit you and suggest other groups use your service...Awesome!. More...
Was excellent, very good food, very good attention!
Mu husband and I were walking around Belmont St and decided to stop in for some tea and dessert. The baklava was so good that we went back for dinner. This place is a real hidden gem. Every thing was absolutely fantastic....hummas, eggplant, appetizers, fresh from the oven bread, ice cream and of course, the baklava. We will be coming back. More...
Excellent service and food quality. Even the happy hour menu is top-notch, with grass fed beef and full size hummus. This is a restaurant that truly cares about its customers and I will be back.
I always have a great experience when I go to Hoda’s. They have fabulous food, impeccable service and a cozy atmosphere. Great location too. The only thing I don’t love is the bathroom situation. The smell can sometimes drift over and be offputting.
Otherwise it’s great for a lunch, a date night or a great party! Enjoy! More...
Not only is their food incredibly delicious, but the environment is wonderful. Great service, decorations, and music. The food is rich and filling at a reasonable price. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in Portland. I am gonna be going a lot in the future. More...
Best middle eastern food I’ve had in a long time.
Great food and great people who work there! Awesome environment, and the owner just started up a conversation with my table. Really felt welcoming, the waiters also really stretch you out of your comfort zone and want you to try new kinds of food you've never had, and have great recommendations!! More...

Always a great place for fantastic food. Great staff too.
I have had Hoda's cater many events of mine, I keep coming back! Not only is working with them always graceful, clear and easy but the food is AMAZING! All of my event attendees always rave about the food. I have always felt deeply respected and taken care of as a client. Great People, Total Attention to Detail and Exquisite Food!! 5 Stars all the way! More...
We LOVED this place and will definitely be back. Farm raised meat, organic veggies, so fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very very sweet and attentive. We did the six course meal for two and also got the lamb kebobs. We are very picky and we absolutely loved everything. I wish I could go there again today. Definitely go for the six course meal. Our wedding turned out BEAUTIFUL at this venue. The things I liked the most about it was the amazing location, decorations, and freedom to bring in your own alcohol, caterer, decorations, etc. Things I would recommend: Make sure you or your wedding planner has GREAT communication skills, though the venue can hold a large amount of people and cars, this is probably better for less than 100 guests. Also, make sure no one brings ANY pets, not even in cars. Really, just make sure you have flexible family and friends and the day will go much better for everybody. Our wedding ended up being 100 degrees which is unexpected and there is minimal AC on the property, so we had to change many things last minute. I loved that there was a mister for everyone to cool off! Overall though, the day went very well and everything worked out amazingly in the end. Thank you to Cape Horn Estate for hosting us! More...
Beautiful venue, very limited parking!
Great place to have a wedding/event. To start off with I love the theme and the location it's just amazing. Also the view is get beautiful. Anything great thing is that they have a awesome bridal suite, it looks like a professional studio makeup room. Last the owners are very nice and helpful when it comes to setting thing up and putting things away. More...
