On a Saturday night, I wanted to try this spot as I was traveling through Houston. I was greeted immediately and it seemed like the place was family owned. The service was friendly and quick. Food was great and came out relatively fast. I got coleslaw and some ribs, which came together with some sauce. Coleslaw had a little kick to it, but not necessarily spicy, it was unique dish compared to other corporate restaurants such as popeyes. Overall I would recommend. More...

THAT WAS AMAZING !!! I wish I could post a picture of the food but WOW ! The brisket Was so tender and for 1/4th of meat that was a great amount ! The beans and fries are awesome ! Hitters hits !Hopefully they get a sign up soon so everyone knows where they are - hint look for the smoke stack out front and prepare to be greeted by the family. Everything on the menu is great, I always have a soft spot for ribs (they do beef on Saturdays) but their links and brisket is also great. Family owned and operated, Hitters was a pleasant surprise. Come for BBQ, stay for the sauce; tangy and a hint of sweetness, the sauce is fantastic. Hitters catered the food for our graduation party. It was great! Brisket was tender & juicy, my son & friends liked the sausage, pulled pork was nice with sauce on the side.
Brisket beans were the surprise hit. I'm waiting for them to bottle their sauce...
