Since there was going to be a dj playing in the lounge without a cover charge I decided to invite a bunch of friends to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very accommodating reserving a whole section for me and letting me bring a birthday cake to set up. The music was great as we all danced the night away. Russell the bartender was amazing. He was so nice and courteous and helpful. The other bartender was very sweet and friendly. Overall it was a fabulous birthday that i will never forget. We lucked out when we found ourselves here last night! We were traveling home from Tennessee, and the place in Allentown PA lost their power to the terrible storm that came through. We didn't know where to go, so we continued on, through the storm and found the Holiday Inn in Clinton, NJ. We were thrilled that they had a room for us, and couldn't believe how nice it was, the room, the food at the restaurant, and the outdoor bar! The staff were amazing! We had the nicest waitress and her dad at the restaurant wait on us, who made sure we got everything we wanted. Then we went to the outside bar and were treated like family by the bartender! Went up to our room and had the most restful sleep on an incredibly comfortable bed-so comfortable that I actually checked to see what type of mattress it was so we can buy one! The accessible room was great, lots of space to roll around, perfect bathroom with a roll-in shower. The bedding was very comfortable. There was a Keurig brewer with a good assortment of k-cups, a small fridge and microwave. Breakfast buffet was free with AAA. We will absolutely return. I had a baseball tournament in NJ and booked the hotel for my team. The hotel was very nice, the staff was very kind, breakfast was delicious, and beds very comfortable.
We have stayed in many hotels over the past few years as a team and this was definately one of the best.
Great Stay. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
