We used Hireaband to hire David to play at our ceremony and Reception. David was absolutely amazing, he is so unbelievably talented and so friendly. As a couple we were pretty relaxed but had 2 songs that we absolutely had to have, David learnt the songs we provided and delivered them perfectly during our ceremony and honestly it was just so special. The guys in The Rollin Drones were amazing from start to finish. They fufilled our wish of adding pipes into put first dance which is something we will remember forever, its was phenomenal! Also going out of their way to record it and sending me a copy! Mike emailed back very quick and answered any questions we had. I think the biggest testament to any band is when the dance floor is never empty and I don’t think there was any point where people were sat down. People even rushed to the dance floor during the sound check! When we booked Sneaky Treacle it was as a result of their set list, a huge variety of music genres including a song which is very personal to us and not commonly played at weddings. This made our decision so easy and we hoped for the best. The band surpassed all of our expectations and were one of the biggest talking points of our day - everyone loved them. The variety of music played, the energy from the band and their patience with a predominantly English crowd trying to do a ceilidh was amazing! By the end of the night, people were asking us who the band were for any future events and didn’t want them to finish! They honestly made our evening reception more than we could have asked for and we did not stop smiling. We absolutely loved having First Class as our Wedding band, they lived up to there name. They learnt our 'first dance' song and entertained our guests all night. At 1st I thought they were very professional, then this whole COVID19 situation started and they have basically stollen my money!
The government has cancelled our wedding and we are not able to rearrange at our venue as it's up for sale. They wont even negotiate at giving me some of my money back! They claim to have provided me with £250 worth of service which in reality they have pressed a button, they claim to be worse off than most people but they will claim 80% and they have stollen that money off me.....I believe I'm worse off here!!

We used HireaBand to book Sultans of Fling for our wedding ceilidh band and also our Piper and so glad we did. They were very helpful in helping us find the right musicians to begin with and when our Piper was no longer available about 1 month before the wedding HireaBand helped find an alternative and arrange the whole thing. The hireaband team were so helpful in our choosing the right band for our wedding day! Empire were excellent! Super flexible when setting up in the corn shed. Their varied set list got everyone on the dance floor! The mix of vocals really set them apart from others bands I've seen. The highlight was when they played my personal favourite Muse for us! I hired the essential jersey boys and what can I say truly incredible I can't even put into words how talented these guys were.
It was a surprise for my mum and dad's 40th wedding blessing and the surprise stayed a surprise and they were completely shocked.
The blessing was amazing but the jersey boys topped the night .

From start to finish every song was faultless and accommodated any requests we had.
Everyone commented on just how good the band were and even now are asking for their details.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the absolutes/the night shift to anyone looking for a band to play at their wedding or any other function.

We had Super Soul play at our wedding in July 2017, absolutely blew everyone away. We chose them not only for the music but also the audience interaction, they didn't disappoint and got everyone up and dancing. We were absolutely over the moon with the service from Hire a Band and the performance of the Six Bar Renegades. They were patient and flexible despite our last-minute indecision and were brilliant on our wedding day. They introduced themselves at the venue at the first opportunity and were friendly and well-presented. The acoustic sets were absolutely lovely during our drinks reception, and things flowed well into the livelier evening music. Hireaband were fantastic to work with in the lead up to selecting our band through to the days before our wedding reception. We weren't sure what we wanted but we knew what we didn't want and Hireaband sent us through a selection, all of which ticked the boxes. Going through the band's videos and song clips was fantastic and allowed us to select our perfect band without waiting to see them at a showcase - and they didn't disappoint! A huge thank you to Hireaband for providing my new wife and I with an extremely professional service. We had the awesomely fantastic Sneaky Treacle perform at our wedding at the Lochside House Hotel on Friday 15th September 2017 and they absolutely rocked the house down.
The band are by far the best band on the wedding circuit. They are a talented group of first class musicians who offer the most professional, tight and slick set. You can tell Sneaky Treacle love what they do and are full of charisma. To have this brilliant band entertain and be part of our wedding was the icing on the cake and we feel so lucky that since we booked the band we have got to know them personally and can now also call them friends too.
I too am a singer and was extremely privileged to be able to share the stage with the band at our wedding and not only dedicate a special song to my beautiful bride but rock out some unexpected songs to our fun loving energised guests. The band were so hospitable and accommodating and allowed me to rehearse with them prior to the big day.
I cannot recommend these amazing guys enough and if future clients want to secure the best wedding band on the scene then they should certainly not hesitate in booking Sneaky Treacle. Our guests are still singing their praises.
