Had a pleasant meal with work colleagues here. The menu is vast and has something to suit everyone and a large selection from the grill. There is a two course menu available from 5-7pm on an early bird deal which also has some good value for money options which include steak. We recently bought tickets to the Transylvania Hotel Party and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff dressed up as halloween characters and were fantastic mingling amongst the children, chatting with them and having their photos taken with them. Tickets were extremely reasonable and I was impressed that the hotel hadn't hiked up the price of the kiddies food and drinks. It's definitely going to be an annual event. A fairly new hotel, parking is free, all the staff have been friendly and speak a good level of English,the rooms are really nice and well equipped.
Situated right next to the Stadium of Light so no crowds or busy traffic to contend with.

Good hotel, location convenient and staff accommodating. Bar prices a little on the pricey side. We had an issue with the air-con in our room and after being unable to resolve, happily moved us to another room and offered to help move our luggage. Cant say fairer than that.

The staff don't make too much fuss of you, they make sure your comfortable, and you can come and go as you please, just as a hotel should be.
The breakfast buffet is amazing, the food is of high quality, and they have a massive choice of food on.
The staff are extremely welcoming, nothing is too much for them, and they aren't like robots!
We had a few bogus complaints made against us about noise, which was complete nonsense, of which we where appeased for.
This is now the second time we've stayed here, and will continue to do so every time we come up to visit our home town.
All the other reviews IV seen which are 1 or so stars are experiences so far removed from what does actually happen here.
