We had an amazing experience with Hillary! She was fun and super sweet especially with our "not so easy" to take pictures with 3 year old. We loved every single photo we got back and will treasure them forever. As a fellow photographer it can be hard to put your trust in another photographer but I am so happy I did. We had so much fun doing our engagement photos with Hillary! She was super helpful from giving me advice on outfits to helping me choose a location to fixing my hair right before a shot! My fiancé and I are both camera shy, but she was really good about telling us how to pose and giving us tips on how to look natural and just have fun! She is really open to your ideas, and willing to get in the most uncomfortable places/positions in order to get the perfect shot. I was really worried about how the photos would turn out because we had no choice but to shoot after a storm and my hair got really frizzy, but she managed to turn the dark clouds into a really amazing background and fix all of the little imperfections with my hair! We had my maternity photos and our newborn/family photos taken by Hillary. The maternity photos were taken outside in northern Colorado and every single picture was breathtaking.
She had us follow her driving and we would pull over when she would envision a great picture. She took us to the most beautiful places that truly made my dream maternity pictures come true. Amazing.
She drove to our home months later to take our newborn/family photos in Colorado Springs. She loved on our dogs and took pictures of them just as she would another kiddo in our family. She was patient and loving while she took pictures of our newborn. When I received the photos, every single picture brought me a smile and made my heart so incredibly happy. She truly knows how to capture the moment(s). Pictures mean the world to me and are extremely important to our family, so having Hillary capture this time in our lives will always be cherished and loved. We love them. Every single one of them.
Hillary is extremely sweet and professional and we look forward to having her take our pictures again!

When I got engaged to my fiancee in January, I immediately knew that we had to get our engagement photos done by Hillary. Seeing her pictures on instagram were always so breathtaking, and I knew that no one would be able to capture us better than her . Hillary made the process so easy and enjoyable! AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! My fiancé and I were both a little nervous about being in front of the camera, but Hillary made it SO easy! She was funny and friendly and immediately made us feel comfortable. She doesn't just stick you in posed positions, but she makes you interact with each other so she can get the most natural photos possible. I'm not sure where to even begin. . . Being a photographer makes choosing your family photographer 10 million times harder. Once our regular family photographer moved away, I kept putting off finding a new one. But the holidays were coming and so I KNEW I needed to get on it. I must have viewed 20-30 different Denver area photographers but none of them popped out at me until I saw Hillary's work. It was beautiful and she captured families and couples in the way I knew I wanted my family captured. From the very beginning she was patient and kind, she was reassuring when I was stressing about it. When we met her for the first time she was bubbly and immediately drawn to my children. She became instant best friends with them. They LOVED her. Her interaction superseded all of my expectations. Even in the midst of the session when I felt like everything was extremely chaotic, she was there letting me know how great it was actually going and she was right. I haven't even seen all of our photos yet, but the 9 she posted for us have taken my breath away. I literally could have cried because I was so overjoyed with emotion because she captured my family exactly as they are.
