I started seeing Lisa while I was having severe anxiety and panic attacks. I was frustrated that I could not get in to see any mental health professional through my insurance for months. A friend recommended Lisa and I called her that day. I was able to get an appointment with Lisa the next day! I was relieved. Lisa is kind, caring, and welcoming. She is not judgmental. We set up goals on my first visit and I was given homework. I really worked hard to manage my anxiety and Lisa gave me the strategies to succeed. Her schedule was flexible and I never had an issue scheduling an appointment. I have my anxiety under control, thanks to Lisa. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking help. More...

I have been seeing Lisa for the past 3 1/2 years and I can't say enough positive things about her as a therapist. She has helped me through some major life transitions, anxiety and self-confidence issues. She really stands out to me as a therapist because she can relate to many things on a personal level and never makes you feel like there is something "wrong" with you. I have been seeing Lisa for almost four years for disordered eating and anxiety. I will admit, it was not my choice to see her or anyone in the first place, but it was my choice to keep going back and she made that an easy decision every time. Going to sessions with Lisa always left me feeling better than when I went in. The advantage of seeing Lisa is that it's never been a roller coaster between sessions. She gives you concrete tools that you can practice and work on. The sessions are a strong, necessary foundation, but Lisa's exercises and resources are what I used to build my life back up. They made me excited to work on myself again. They made me excited to care about myself again. Lisa is warm and kind and engaged. She, quite simply, cares about me. I'm not a new person for having seen Lisa. I'm not different or better. She just helped me see that I'm a person worth caring about, that my life is worth working on and that I have the power to be the best version of myself. I would strongly recommend her to any friend or stranger going through a low-point, a transition or the every day drudge that life can be sometimes. More...
