What’s your interior design process?
I spend time with the client to determine their needs and what can be successfully achieved within the constraints of time and budget.
We then enter in to a detailed design process translating a style and ideas in to products, colours and a full specification.
This specification is then signed-off and implemented, often using expert tradesmen that I work with time and again or with the client's own team.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Any. I do not promote a particular 'house style' as I think the client's desire for a particular style is all-important. However I am keen to use authentic materials and respect period features and the history of properties.
What do you love most about your job?
I love arriving at a final scheme and visualising how beautifully it will translate in to the space. I get great satisfaction from a happy customer and the enjoyment they have from a space that we have worked on together. I enjoy the collaboration with a client.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My years of experience at the cutting edge of project management for large companies had trained me well for delivering projects for clients for myself in an area of work that I have a real passion for.
