I am sincerely grateful to have found this place. I would recommend Kinsey and Gator to anyone looking for a counselor/therapist. She is very down to earth, has a good sense of humor, really focuses on helping you achieve your goals, and it's a safe place to talk through whatever you're going through. The homework assignments are super beneficial and you can tell she really cares. Plus Gator is a big help, and always in tune to when things are harder to talk about. I had the pleasure of working with Kinsey for about a year and I have to say that I would send family members or friends to her. Kinsey is warm, inviting, and hilarious... someone you just enjoy talking to.She helped clients feel unjudged and understood while still challenging them to reach their goals. I've never met another therapist who offered such pragmatic and empowering perspectives on family conflict, substance abuse, and a variety of mental health challenges. I still consult her today, even half a country away. Kinsey is one of those rare therapists that has both the kind heart and a sharp mind for this work. She is truly a gem in the lowcountry.
