Have just decided to do a review as just getting into the habit of doing them. It was some 3/4 years since I used this company to replace soffit and barge boards around the house. This job was secondary as originally got them in to quote for a garage roof after another company let me down (have reviewed this company, S**ths G***s 1 star). Price was for superior longer lasting membrane than the fibre glass offered by the other and removal of existing asbestos included (which was substantially more with other co pany). Scaffolding around house was erected on the correct date an work commenced. Well pleased with results and the guarantee on the membrane roof should see me out. From the initial enquiry with High-Tech Membrane Roofing, everything went very smoothly, starting with Ricky the saleman, he came round and showed us the product and explained the whole process of getting our tired flat roof renewed. Ricky arranged a date for the work to be carried out, that was convenient for us. Nathan and Kevin turned up on time on the said day, they were hard workers and very tidy and clean, they even took their shoes off when entering the house and kept us updated on the work being carried out, very polite lads. When the roofing work was completed it looked amazing, Nathan and Kevin did a brilliant job and also let me inspect the work to make sure we were happy with it, they also cleaned up and left the area spotless. I can only reiterate previous comments regarding the professionalism of staff at High -Tech Membrane Roofing and of Glen and Georgie's friendly and polite manner. They worked hard on mine and my neighbour's garage roof in sweltering temperatures - they didn't dilly dally - just got on with the job! No problems from when Steve came to my home to provide me with the information on products to installing the roofs. The price you are quoted is the price you pay, no extra add ons. We had a leaking flat felt roof replaced with the High Tech Membrane, and also had a large 3m x 1m skylight fitted at the same time. The guys who did the work were professional and worked hard. The finished product is excellent and very neat. Since fitting we have had several periods of torrential rain and the roof is great. In all our dealings with the company the office have always been quick to pick up the phone and eager to make sure everything was ok. The only complaint I would have was when the company surveyor arrived pre fitting, he appeared disinterested and unfriendly. And when the fitters arrived with the plans (which I think must have been made by the surveyor) the skylight was shown running the wrong way. There was a slight delay because of this, because the cross beams were not the right length. Luckily the fitters knew what they were doing. So the advice I would give is definitely go with this company - but be firm and clear with any surveyor. A great product and a very good company. More...
