Always on time and ready to train, my guy Jerry is enthusiastic and clearly aware of my physical limits and overall goals. It's a pleasure working with him. Alex is a great trainer. I am new to weight training, so I had to begin from the very basics. He is very patient and careful to details. He is very concerning about the right technique and safety of all exercises we perform. He also pays a lot of attention to flexibility during strength training. I was very bad at it in the beginning but after just a month of training 3 times a week my flexibility increased dramatically. I highly recommend him if you need really professional trainer who can come to your own home or apartment building gym. Best trainer in LA! I've been working out with personal trainers since my very first workout 5 years ago. Since then I changed about 4-5 trainers and finally found the perfect one. We've been working together about a year and with him I began getting the real results I needed. We are working in my home gym which he helped me to build, suggesting the equipment I needed and choosing the right one. His workouts are simple but surprisingly effective. Training with Jason has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.After discussing my goals he customized a plan tailored just for me and now, a month and a half in, not only can I see my body transforming but I also have much more energy in general.Don't get me wrong it is tough! Like supppper tough! He will definitely push you and you might even hate him just a little at times but its all to your benefit. Wow, Where do I begin?! Jason Kozma has truly changed and transformed my life, my body, my health in so many positive ways! I am so thankful for him. Finding him has been one of my biggest Blessings. Here is my story which ultimately led me to meeting, Jason,  amazing trainer/transformer:My journey all started with a low thyroid condition combined with needing to take steroids for a related inflammatory health condition. As a result I had gained an extreme amount of weight. I had tried out different trainers in LA, some very expensive. Over a one year period my weight didn't even go down even 1 pound. Frustrated, I almost gave up, but then I came across Jason's website one day as I was searching for experts in weight loss. I decided to meet with him, and set up a consultation. In that one consult Jason blew me away with his immense scientific knowledge! He explained to me why I wasn't losing weight, despite all my work with those LA trainers. Jason laid out a complete program for me to follow that combined his pioneering weight training and work out techniques with specific supplements and a detailed nutrition program that was customized to my issues (thyroid, female hormone imbalance and age). He also gave my program all written up in a folder, including homework to send to him of my meals, etc (all included in his training fee!). Blown away! I am in the medical field myself, and I was surprised that he knew even more than the doctors I have been going to who didn't seem to have a clue on how to help me lose my weight or feel better.As I embarked on Jason's program, I began to have more energy. Friends told me I was starting to glow, and wanted to know my secret. Every week working with Jason,  I would lose weight on the scale, and by 6 weeks I lost 27 POUNDS with Jason!!!!!! Whoa, I am in complete shock! When other trainers I worked with over one full year couldn't make a difference, Jason helped me transform my body and my life within a short span of time! I played Division 1 volleyball in college and then became a fitness instructor myself post-college, so I've experienced several different trainers throughout my athletic and personal life, but NONE compare to Jason. I just finished a 12-week online program and am writing to second all of the good things that reviewers have said about Jason. My work schedule is pretty unpredictable, so I decided to go with the online training option. Jason designed a plan for me and every week I would send him in my diet and exercise logs. He would read these closely and email me back with feedback and suggestions. When Jason noticed that my legs were my weakest body part, he suggested that I come in for an in-person session to show me the ropes. We came up with a new plan for legs that produced immediate results, which makes me wonder how much more progress I would have made had I been able to schedule live training sessions with him. Anyway, after twelve weeks, I've lost 16 pounds and my body fat percentage has dropped from 14% to a little over 5%. The only thing I wanted when I decided to sign-up with Jason was results, and he was able to deliver. That's really the highest compliment that I can pay him. I've had personal trainers in the past, but Jason is by FAR the best of the best. He's tough, but I got amazing results in only 3 months. He's very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and motivational. I've worked out and lifted weights all my life, and I thought I knew it all. Boy was I wrong. Jason completely changed my life! I had been trying to work out on my own for years and made some progress but had no idea what I was doing wrong. Jason immediately showed me correct form, taught me new exercises, gave me a great diet, and put me on track. I started at around 20% body fat and went down to 13%! I couldn't do a single pull up before and now I can do 10.

I have tried every kind of workout and nutritional plan there is. After many failed attempts to lose weight and tone up, I called Jason. He was prompt to respond, unlike some other trainers that I had contacted, and very professional. He made time to meet with me right away. After reviewing his training method and nutritional approach, I knew that this was the guy that was going to help me get back into shape. I signed up that day and began my 8 week transformation. I started seeing results immediately. Quick results are always a huge motivator, but Jason also makes the training sessions fun and efficient. Alex is a great personal trainer. I'm pretty familiar with a fitness training (actually I've been working out for the last the 5 years) but his approach is definitely different from other trainers. He is not just about getting the money from you (like some other trainers!) but he truly cares about results. If you really want it, you'll get it with him. Also, it's very convenient that he is mobile and can come to the gym where you you're at. We've been working together for 4 months, training at the gym in my apartment building. Signing up for Jason’s online training program is the best $500 I have ever spent on fitness. He gave me a compact distillation of the current state of the art in bodybuilding, diet, and fat loss methods, and they really work. Previous to this, I had done a year of ‘Starting Strength’ to build up strength after a double knee replacement. It worked as advertised, and I ended up stronger in the squat than I ever was in my 20s the last time I tried lifting. I also ended up at 25% body fat, and when my noob gains slowed down, I decided to get rid of the belly and try working with Jason. What really shocked me was the rate of fat loss without feeling hunger. The diet is 5-6 smaller meals per day, with lots of protein and veggies. I found a couple of good recipes for baking chicken en masse, bought a food scale, and prep a week’s worth of meals on Sunday. Easy, fast, cheap, and most important — no hunger. I have an intense job so I can’t be thinking about food during the day, and I don’t. My workout is a 5 day split with about an hour of lifting per day, followed by 30 minutes of cardio. The cardio doesn’t seem that hard given the rate of fat loss, and I’m getting stronger steadily. There is some sort of weird magic going on that I can’t explain, but I’ll take it. I dropped 2 notches on my belt *the first month*, and am between 10-15 lbs down from where I started. This guy is really, really good. Highly recommended if you want to change your body quickly. I hired Jason after deciding to take my fitness to the next level and do a bikini competition. It should be noted that prior to hiring Jason Ive had nutritionist, and trainers. Therefore, i know what and who I am comparing Jason, his skills and abilities to.
I trained with him personally and also did the online nutrition and exercise program for the times that I wasn't training with him in Santa Monica.
The minute I saw Jason, he was pretty much on point about how much weight and body fat I would drop in the 8 weeks of prep ( that's all the time I had!)
Going to the gym wasn't something new to me, however learning to do proper exercises in the proper order to stimulate fat loss and muscle growth was something i learned from training with Jason. He knows exactly how a female body responds to training, how it should be shaped and sculpted (which is an important factor when it comes to serious training) . His nutrition program was simple and easy to follow.
I went on and got 2nd place for my first bikini competition with 9% body fat. Bottom line is Jason is a pro he knows, exactly what he's doing. If you hire him you are guaranteed to SEE RESULTS, you WILL FEEL GREAT about yourself and your body, and you will get asked "WOW! how did you do that?"

I'm in the early days of training with team Jason but it's already changed the way I view fitness. I lifelong runner, I've never been able to stick to strength. After about 8 weeks my body is visibly evolving and I feel stronger in every day activities. I have a 1 year old at home (& a 3 year old) and my core is weak to say the least. I train with Jason's referred trainer Deena and I love her! She is tough but in a way that works for me. She's a perfectionist about form and pushes without being pushy. She has a way of making you want to do more because she is sweet, which is a real gift for a trainer! I'm so glad I finally took the initiative to do this. I've tried out a bunch of different trainers over the years and never had any great success with any of them. Jason's program is excellent. I started his program because I was feeling blah and couldn't get myself motivated. I was having headaches several times a week and crashing every day at 3 no matter how much caffeine I had.Within 3 days on Jason's diet, my headaches were gone and I felt energized all day - so much so that I always felt ready for a workout after work which was a rarity before this.I also lost a bunch of weight and reshaped my body. So I've lost about 9.5 lbs in 8 to 9 weeks, including a few days partying in cancun so not bad.  I've also gained some visible muscle so I'm guessing I lost about 12-13 lbs of fat or about 6-7% in body fat percent.  I wasn't perfect on everything, but definitely consistent and probably 90% or more on plan for diet, cardio, and weights.  I came in eating pretty low carbs, low salt, and fairly clean so I didn't have a lot of water weight to give me the rapid 5-10 lbs off in the first two weeks.  I lost 1 to 1.5 lbs/week very steadily.My conditioning is solid and I can run faster and easier than ever due to the fat loss.  I've been making significant gains lifting as well.  Jason gives you the plan, makes adjustments as needed and then it's up to you to plan ahead and be consistent.  I'm thinking of doing another 8 weeks. I have been very diligent with workout and exercise for the past 8 years or so, focusing most of my workouts on cardio with very little consistency in weight training. I've done this twice - once to try to catch a wave and actually see results, and then 7 months later when I realized I had fallen off the wagon and needed that boost to get back on track. Both times have been great.It requires a bit of willpower, which is easy if you eat and exercise consistently. Learned a lot about myself and my own issues with food (although I'm not fat) - the lowdown is that being healthy requires a paradigm shift that Jason and Terrance will help with.If I had the dinero, I'd stick with them, but now the biggest challenge is doing it on my own!Another thing: Burn (the gym) is great, full of people dedicated to their health. The energy there is very helpful to achieving your goals, versus my local LA Fitness gym that is full of vanity where people don't put the weights back where they belong nor do they wipe down the machines. I really don't like exercising, but I found that as I get older, it's necessary to stay in some kind of shape, especially since I enjoy eating food.I tried out Jason and Terrence last May for two months and was elated how I learned how I could push myself, not to mention that I was able to eat a small, balanced diet according to Jason's restrictions. Alas, trying to enjoy the things I liked afterwards was a lost cause, so I came back for a month in Jan for a swift kick in the rear. I did well again and feel rejuvenated in my attempt to better myself thanks to them both.Biggest thing I learned about myself? I have a problem with food, especially portions. For the first time, I'm actually going out and declining certain dishes or maybe I am just eating with more purpose. I also learned that I could push myself more than what I thought I could....so the learning process continues. Another benefit is that the gym that Jason uses - Burn in SM - is a great place. It's never overly crowded, and the energy there is just right, full of like-minded people who are into fitness more than vanity. I wish I could go there all the time but for now I'm stuck with my LA Fitness membership, a place full of people leaving weights everywhere and not wiping down the machines.Now I'm on my own, trying to continue my regimen while having one "cheat meal" a week. It ain't easy, but I'm learning more about myself and my habits that I don't get down when I've indulged too much for my cheat - I'm still learning how I can maintain my goals and my desire to try new things. If you are like me and ready for a transformation in physical well being and perhaps more importantly mental well being from regaining the pride you lost because of the unattractive and unhealthy shape of your body from the years of abuse and neglect, calling Jason Kozma can save your life.In 2013, I trained at UFC gym in Torrance with so called "professional" trainers for very close to 1 year.  Unfortunately, I fell back into my old habits through out most of 2014 until August and gained every single pound back, and then some to spare.  I think many others have experienced similar roller coaster rides with their weight and physique when training out of sheer will power with very expensive and unknowledgeable amateurish trainers at large volume gyms  I'm a very analytical person.  In my very analytical mind, only numbers matter.  Watching the amazing numeric changes to the measurements of my body the last couple of months, has been the single most motivating factor for me.  If you are of similar thinking, then I have the following to report:1.  Training with Jason's team, I've lost more fat and am at a lower body fat % after 8 weeks of training, and 11 weeks of eating Jason's diet than I was after approximately 1 year (52 weeks) of training with the so called professionals at the volume gym in 2013.  I started at 30%, now I'm at 20% and still shrinking in all the right places.  My goal is 10% by the end of January, and for the first time in 15 years, it seems attainable2.  Training with Jason's team is costing me about 2/3s of what I paid at the volume gym to get trained by people that didn't really care about helping me nearly as much as they did about clocking in and out3.  11 weeks ago, I could barely fit into my 36" pants.  38"s were too big, and 36"s a little too tight.  Just last week I noticed my 32" pants are starting to slide down.  That's about 5" to 7" inches in 11 weeks of Jason's diet and 8 weeks of gym training4.  My particular coach, Terrance (probably the best coach in the world) is not only knowledgable, but trying to impart training wisdom unto me.  Something no one I've ever trained with before has done for me.  In regards to Terrance, he watches every single inch of every single rep for the entire 60 minutes.  I cannot begin to explain how important this was for me as through 2013 no one ever really coached me on the details.  Walk into any gym in America and watch personal trainers and you'll see the majority aren't paying intense attention to their clients.  Some watch the clock, my previous trainers at the volume gyms watched their cell phones, others watch members of the opposite sex, and many simply watch themselves in the mirror.  I have no idea where Terrance finds the patience because I can barely stand to keep my attention on myself for that long, but rep 12 of set 3, he's still telling me what I'm doing wrong.  You'll be amazed how much more effective 5 good reps at the right weight are than 50 bad reps at a weight your muscles aren't ready for.  Point being, these guys are real pros, this is their career, they're not training to support themselves through another career like in the volume gyms.5.  About Jason's diet, being as badly overweight as I was, at first I was unsure about how honestly I could stick to it.  Also, I had a habit of eating out every day for every meal.  Immediately after I received the diet, the fat person in me was trying to think of ways to cheat.  Example, perhaps I can eat at Subway instead of cooking at home?  Perhaps I didn't really need to eat 5 times a day as often as I could?  Perhaps, all I needed was to put food in my fridge, but then just continue eating out as often as I could?  Anyway, I started the diet.  The first week was tough, I felt a little hungry, especially in the evening.  The 2nd night I had a headache, I think because of my body already starting to adjust, so I took a pain pill.  Anyway, I got through the first week.  Amazingly, by the start of the second week, the same amount of food began to feel like a lot!  Half way through the 2nd week, it started feeling like too much food.  Your body adopts faster than you can possibly imagine.  It turns out, Jason's diet isn't so much a diet as it is a playbook to eating healthy.  Guaranteed if you get through the first week without cheating, it is incredibly down hill from there.  You'll be eating an exact balance of all the necessary food groups your body requires for healthy function and your body will reward you by shedding the fat.  Jason adjusts the diet weekly, and I intend to make this my basic eating habit for the rest of my life.In summary, if there is anyone reading this review and you're overweight (for me it was dangerously so at nearly 30% body fat), don't know if you can change your habits, are afraid to try, or don't believe you can ever have the body you want, just remember, I was exactly where you are!  Call these guys and it can change for you too... I just completed a 4 week program with Jason as my online trainer. The program consists of a diet tailored to your gender and size and a pretty intense weight lifting and cardio program. It was tough and I was tired, but I figured I could commit to 4 weeks. I was blown away by my results in 4 short weeks. I wasn't sure how much different I would feel doing the program this way versus face to face, but I must say, at no point have I ever felt like I did not have a personal trainer every step of the way. I started my third week yesterday and absolutely love the whole program. He provides direct feedback on my questions about nutrition, exercises and how best to keep this going with my travel. Jason Kozma rocks!!! I lost 10 lbs and got very toned in 8 weeks. He's a real pro and gets great results. I've had many different "celebrity" trainers and Jason puts them all to shame with his professionalism on the topic of weight training and his ability to tailor make a program for the individual. I had a problem with my posture before and he trained it out of me by strengthening the correct muscles. I was concerned about doing this via the online process, but at no point have I ever not felt supported by Jason or felt I did not have my own personal trainer still.  And the results are phenomenal.  I am going into my third week and have already lost 5 pounds and drooped 3% body fat.  I see such a difference in my physique.  And I have already had a fellow female coworker tell me that I look beautifully fit.  That made my day and was the first I had been given that compliment.  Jason is an amazing trainer.  You will work hard in his program, the diet and workout regime can be tough, but so worth it.  Just stick to what Jason tells you in his plan and you cannot go wrong.  I cannot wait to see how I look in the next 6 weeks, considering how great I already look and feel working with him.  Thank you Jason!!!! After giving birth to my daughter, I wanted to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and figure, but I had no idea where to start nor did I have the motivation to do it on my own. I really thought I would never lose the baby weight. Luckily for me, about a month ago, I found Jason and his program. Since that time, Jason has put me on a diet that is quite strict, but doable, and he referred me to Mike, with whom I have been training. In just four weeks with Jason and Mike (and only three months after giving birth), I have already come within striking distance of my pre-pregnancy weight, while losing weight at a steady and safe rate for a breastfeeding mom. Really love the boot camp and Ruben is awesome! Feel great too. I've dropped about 20lbs since I started the classes and almost 3 pant sizes and can feel a considerable difference in my level of strength - especially Tue mornings when i play ice hockey...I get so much more out of it now, like I used to when I was younger - which in turn makes it more fun.I travel a lot for work and its always been tough for me to be consistent but I've found I'm able to try and replicate some of the workouts Ruben puts us through while I'm on the road - much more fun than running on a treadmill in a hotel gym staring at a wall :) More...

Well..I had to write this review for all us girls out there that who wants instant gratification on anything we invest in..THIS IS NOT THAT PROGRAM!..This is meant to be lifestyle change that takes effort and  major commitment on our part.I signed up with Jason in Feb and assigned with one of his trainers, James.  It's been hard work and required extreme dedication.  I woke up one morning and realized my "spare tire" is slowly melting away and definition in my abs that I havent seen in about 2 years! Jason Kozma is no-nonsense, but his diet really works.  He is extremely professional and courteous.  Through his diet, I have lost not only an abundance of weight, but gained muscle.  He is tough: prefacing his diet: if you aren't losing weight you are doing something wrong, which is true.  It is totally fail-proof.  So, if you want to lose weight, he is your man.  I trained with two of his trainers: Deena and Ruben for close to a year, until I sadly moved away.  They were both beyond awesome.    Deena was so innovative and in-touch with my body, I wish I could pack her in my moving truck and keep her.  She had the perfect amount of involvement in my life, both keeping me focused on my goals and knowing when to back off.  She is tough and motivating.  She is a life-coach, trainer, and friend.  Ruben trained me for boxing.  He almost inspired me to get in the ring.  He was so knowledgeable about both boxing and the body, I felt very comfortable and motivated.  He is a true gem of the workout world.  Clearly: Jason only manifests the best: the best diet, the best company, and truly the best trainers in the world.  What are you waiting for? I trained with Jason Kozma for several months.  I've had other trainers previously and can confidently say that Jason is the best.  I saw results in a very short time.  Jason is great about monitoring your progress and pushing you on all of your exercises.  Before Jason, I had plateaued and assumed that I would never see dramatic gains in my bench press, squats, etc.  But in just a few weeks training with Jason, I was lifting more than ever before on all of them.  Admittedly, Jason's rates are high when you view them as $-per-session.  But, as a consumer, you should think about this as a lump sum purchase to get into better shape.  The benefits are not confined to your time training with Jason but, instead, last long after that.  It's definitely worth the price. Training without is Jason is like being deprived of the sun. LOL. He jokingly said this but it's true. It's much easier to see a goal and get to it with his rays beaming the way. The training sessions are super challenging yet fun, the diet spartan (but you aren't hungry) and the cardio actually pretty easy. An element of Jason's services that seems underrepresented here is the fact that he offers clients the option of training with his colleagues. In my case, Jason quickly sized up my needs and matched me with James Balazs (pronounced like ""ballast"" without the ""t""), who works out of the Easton Gym on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I've worked out with James for more than a year -- starting at age 53 and 40 pounds overweight -- and with his careful guidance have dropped my BP from dangerous to normal, my body-fat percentage from obese to normal, my weight from 250 to 214, my strength and well-being from lousy to good. James is a knowledgeable trainer, not some rep-counting moron who doesn't understand customizing workouts (of which there are far too many in this field). I was a client of Jason's a couple of years ago, and I have never been in such good shape since. My mother is one of those people who repeats things over and over again, and she never stops reminding me of what good shape I used to be in. She keeps saying, remember when you were working out with ""that guy, I couldn't believe you could look like that."" Of course since then I have been preoccupied with other things, but if I wanted to get into really good shape again I would go see Jason. The most amazing trainer out there... Working with Jason and his team was my first experience with a trainer and an AWESOME experience. Not only did I learn SO much about the connection between diet and excercise, Jason and his team motivated me to put these lessons to use to achieve extraordinary results! I cant say enough great things about Jason. I've been very impressed with everything from how keen he is in identifying what I as an individual needed in terms of nutrition, supplements and excersize (one size does not fit all!), to just the integrity with which he manages his business. Jason is amazing!!  The coaching I got from Jason has been life changing and absolutely worth every penny!!  Its not just about "getting thin", although thats what I came to him for, he has made me stronger and healthier then I've been in a very long time.  I dont have to worry that the stress at work or in my personal life will crash my immune system, and I'll get sick at a critical time.  I'm now strong and healthy enough to withstand stressful periods without crashing!  I cant really put it into words but basically even if you are a relatively healthy person as I was, when you improve the health of your body, your life just becomes better.I noticed that I had gained 6 pounds over the course of a year and wanted to nip it in the bud before it became 10 or 20 pounds.  I thought, no problem. I'll just start running again.  For the next 3 months I gained and lost the same 4 pounds over and over (while injuring my knee).  I became really frustrated and contacted Jason.  To become a champion body builder, Jason had to become very knowledgable as to what builds muscle quickly and what causes very quick fat loss.  He is really good at knowing just how hard to push you for maximum (injury free) results and modifies his methodology as your body adapts so you never plateau.Within 3 weeks I lost 8 pounds and looked much better then I would have had the running worked because I didnt just get skinny, I built muscle in all of the places that were flabby and needed sculpting.  After 2 months, my body fat percentage was about 15%, I no longer fantasize about getting lypo, and I have a butt that defys my genetics!Jason is a master of his craft! Could Jason be the best trainer to walk this earth? Yes... He very well could be. If you've plateaued like I did or even if you never made it anywhere near that plateau, Jason can help you achieve things you never though possible. He has helped me in more ways than just looking better... Although being in the best shape of my life isn't bad. I feel better on the inside and I'm living a much healthier lifestyle than ever before. Everything he taught me I will remember forever. I had been training on my own for over three years before signing up with Jason. I had made some pretty good progress and I thought I knew a thing or two, but I had just stagnated for the last year without any real gains. Fearing that this was just my body's limit I started training with Jason four times a week. As it turns out, I really needed it. Almost everything I thought I knew was wrong and Jason is still helping me re-train, but the gains have been nothing short of amazing. Jason's program puts together the complete package of diet and training. The two are absolutely inseparable (as I found out) and Jason doesn't just suggest a diet plan, it's a constant part of the training as he makes adjustments every week to find out what works best for your unique body and training goals. I trained with Jason for two years and experience wonderful results, before moving to another country. With Jason's training I learned to practice and enjoy a healthy lifestyle and not just ""go on a diet"". After 2 years off from training I found myself 50lbs overweight and not feeling well.
