We used Herne Cars six seater from Herne Bay to Birchington last night. The driver was lovely- very pleasant, and his car was immaculate inside and out. He couldn’t find the venue when we arrived, as it was badly signposted, but we had a laugh over it, as we went on a magical mystery tour! A Red Skoda Rapid waited for my mate and I at the crossroad of Spencer and Canterbury Road, as requested on Friday evening. We sat in the comfortable car, it was a relief to realise the meter did not start until we were ready to hit Canterbury City. The driver, well, let's just say, every driver should be like him - he is a customer of taxi's firms and knows what it's like to be a customer. Approx. £16 to Canterbury and gave us some useful tips when travelling home at 5-6am! True Gent! More...

I have used this company since the 1990s when the owner was a guy named Mick and had several very long trips with him which were excellent. In later years the ownership had changed and I had become very disillusioned so took my business to another company. However in recent months I learned that the business had changed hands again so I thought I would give it another try. I must say the service has now reverted to being excellent again, I have always been able to book a car whenever I need it and the drivers are all so helpful, friendly and courteous, I am a long term resident of Herne Bay and have no hesitation in recommending this company whenever I am asked for a good taxi firm.
