The place was absolutely perfect for a week get away with friends. Everything that we needed was present in the house, which helped us have a comfortable stay. The place was spotless when we got there and the garden and sunroom was a cute and a great place to hang out in. The hosts were very friendly and helpful all throughout our trip. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend this for large group bookings. 20 of us stayed in the cottage with age range from teenagers to older adults. The house is lovely, clean and spacious. Perfectly located within short walking distance to the village restaurants and shops. The beds are comfortable and well laid out. The hotel across the road was perfect for those who wanted a full breakfast and got to watch the rugby on Saturday morning. We did predominantly self catering and the house was well designed to cater for this large group. There is so much to do in Carlingford. Declan was very helpful with everything we wanted and made our stay comfortable and stress free. We will definitely be back to Heritage Cottage for a repeat stay. More...

I cannot say enough about how lovely it was to spend a night at the Heritage Cottage; I was was welcomed, well-fed, and well-rested by the time I left. Carlingford is a place I will certainly return to for it's rich culture and kind people, and staying at a really lovely B&B close to town allowed for easy access to all the city has to offer.
