I have used Heritage on a number of previous occasions and always been very satisfied with their work. On this occasion they came to pollard a Sycamore that was growing out of control. The work was done swiftly and efficiently and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. Four years ago, Heritage Arboriculture removed some trees from our newly bought and very overgrown garden. Now that building works are complete and the garden is coming together, we asked them back to remedially prune some old fruit trees and crown lift trees which were overhanging our neighbour's roof. We are in a conservation area and they organised the consent, then came and completed all the work in a day, leaving the site clean and tidy. Being new to the area I obtained several quotations for the removal of a very large but ailing Chestnut Tree and this company's knowledge and professionalism shone through from start to finish. Neil and his team were on time, very friendly and left our site in a very clean and tidy state, including paying attention to shrubs that I didnt want to be affected close to the tree. They made conscious efforts not to be a nuisance with their vehicles and equipment and I have had several thank yous from our neighbours for making our garden, which impacted on their light, considerably improved. We used Heritage Arboriculture to remove a couple of decrepit fruit trees and they did a grand job ~ they handled the paperwork/application to remove them (we live in a conservation area) and, after carting the dismembered trunks away in sizeable chunks, they chipped the branches and hauled the whole lot "off-site" (even used a leaf blower to clear-up the last bits of debris . Very pleased.

Not only is the service fast and efficient, and the communication top notch (Nikki and Neil make a superb team, well done! ), it was the passion for aboriculture and the knowledge of all things trees that made working with them such a pleasure - We would have felled everything dead and retained everything alive, but this is not how a balanced ecosystem works (as I was to learn!), and so now we have a spinney that is balanced and managed, and designed to encourage woodpeckers, owls and all manner of birdlife and bug life and even plant life and soil life - we've created something genuinely good for a tiny little patch of England - how cool is that?!
