Sometimes it is fun to try out new companies by using Groupon. It can be a inexpensive way to see if the place is worthwhile. In this instance, this is my first time at Herban spa and I used a Groupon. I was incredibly happy when I left. When booking a service there are multiple add-ons you can choose from for a fee. The atmosphere was relaxing and Layla, my masseuse was wonderful! She used a combination of hot stones and pressure from her body weight which was very relaxingAfter my hour was up, I swore i was in the room longer. We had a terrific 60 minutes couple's massage at Herban Spa. We recommend for a romantic surprise and deep tissue massage. My tip for people getting any massage is to always is to be vocal about adjusting to your level of comfort. We enjoyed the massage but left confused. The "relaxation" massage was not relaxing lol! For the first 20 minutes they were twisting and kneading my back super fast, dropping the towel on my back and it was far from relaxing lol. Loved the rest of the massage, they definitely know what they're doing, they got all of our pain points and knots out! I just had to ask my massage therapist to slow down. They should consider renaming the massage. Pressure, technique, stretches and face massage were amazing. They really focus on your pain points and customize the massage towards it. The venue, music, and decor were inviting. There is some improvements that can be made for it to become a premier massage spa. Amazing facial and massage. I purchased a 2 hour massage and facial combo (started at 10am). One of the best massages/facials I have had. It was so relaxing I fell asleep multiple times and had to apologize for snoring...probably drooled too. My skin feels soft and refreshed, knots are gone, and I feel relaxed. A new person. In regards to Samantha C's review below. I happened to be in the spa when you came in. Samantha, you were so loud - I could hear you yelling through the walls. You yelled at my masseuse, who went to help you and doesn't manage the bookings (if you would have let her talk - she would have been able to explain this), for probably over 5 minutes!! I am embarrassed that you think it is ok to treat people that way - even if someone made a mistake. I got a groupon for a couples massage. The appearance and energy of the spa was amazing, it had a very relaxed and cozy feel to it. Both ladies did an excellent job. I had tension in my shoulders, neck and head which all melted away. My boyfriend said the massage fixed all of the issues he had been having with his body as well. I bought the mink full set from Groupon. I arrived an hour earlier since I had never been here before and was fully expecting to wait the hour, I figured as much but surprisingly Rachel was able to take me 30 minutes earlier which was awesome. Rachel is a super sweet Korean lady, it just takes a second to get used to her thick accent. I had some lash extensions from a previous business so I wasn't completely bare, but Rachel was able to finish in FORTY MINUTES. It still blows my mind how fast she was and how amazing my lashes look. She did it at a 1:1 and my lashes are so full. So I was pretty skeptic after leaving about my retention rate, but it's been a few days and so far it's been pretty good. The music that played in the background was so soothing I knocked right out. I am from Toronto Canada and was in Issaquah visiting my daughter last week. We had a mother/daughter spa day which started at Herban Therapies for a full body massage and facial for each of us. We actually booked the couples room to share the experiences. Hands down THE BEST massage and THE BEST facial I have ever had. The room was pretty and soothing and the ladies were lovely, welcoming and great at their crafts.Next visit to Washington will most definitely include another trip to Herban Therapies Spa! More...

I received a 2 for 1 Groupon gift for an hour Signature 60min massage and an hour HTS Signature Spa Facial. As soon as you enter the door, the dark and aromatic mode is set. I requested a deep tissue massage, and at first glance of my masseuse I was uncertain. But to my surprise, she had power where needed although I wished she focused more on the area I called out. I’ve gotten massages before and am used to the drill, but was surprised when she climbed on me using her legs for added pressure. It was unexpected and the initial shock passed but a bit uncomfortable when her foot moved its way down my mid-section. If you’re looking to ‘sleep’ during your massage, this may not be the one for you. But if you’re looking for a full body muscle stretching massage, this is the one. This was my first facial and Anna was awesome. She explained things as she was applying, but not overkill. The liquids and oils smelt calming and the scrubs weren’t too rough. I almost don't want to write this review,because I don't want this place to get too popular! But anyways, this place is wonderful. I've gone there on two separate occasions for eyelash extensions, both times with the amazing Groupon deal. Prompt and efficient service, easy online booking system, and zen-like setting/music. I am now hooked and plan on getting my lashes filled regularly.Protip: this place is in a business park called Bellegrove East/West, in the second story of a building with several other businesses. My masseuse was Raquel and I used a Swedish Massage from Groupon for my first massage ever. The space is very relaxing, friendly staff and great service. I learned I will need more sessions to,get the knots out, but Raquel did thorough work and I would see her again and recommend her and this location. I am also sensitive (not allergic) to lotions due to using natural/organic products mostly and I love the lotion/oils used, my skin feels great after. I bought a Groupon deal for a set of mink eyelash extensions with 2 week refill. I thought the deal was a good price but didn't have high expectations of the service. I was so wrong. Jennie did an amazing job on my eyelashes, they are flawless. Certainly the best extensions I've ever received. The service was quick, there were no lashes that fell off or moved out of place after going about my day. I'm used to at least one or two lashes coming loose into my eye..
