I booked my appointment with Kelsey after 13 months of letting my hair grow out. I was nervous going in as I am very particular. Kelsey met me at the door with an uplifting and calm energy. I was offered my choice of water, beer, or wine. She brought me a glass of wine as I was seated in her chair. As she took the time to understand the haircut I wanted she gave me a scalp and shoulder massage. I was recently in a wedding and Jorge was one of the stylists for the event. I was concerned that my hair would not be long enough to pin in an up-do. Jorge did a great job ensuring my hair was up and would stay in place during an outdoor ceremony. My hair looked incredible and stayed in place the whole day and night. I went in to see Henry yesterday, and let me just say that if I could give 10/5 stars, I would. The service was above and beyond! I've never had more dimensional color. Henry took the extra time to go back in for some touches after I'd already been blow-dried because he saw an opportunity to make what was already a great color job even better. I've just started going to Melissa. I've gone a couple of times and she's great! She's super quick and efficient which is nice because for a cut and color, I'm often in the chair for over 3 hours. I'd never colored my hair in 36 years, but I'd admired a few of my friends' styles and they all went to Kelsey at Henrys.. . so I gave it a try a year ago. Kelsey started me off slowly with some blond balayage and I loved it! We added more blond over the year and even more for the summer. I got my hair done by Michaela and WOW, seriously the best color I've ever had.I had some grown out roots and a yellow band of hair that wasn't bleached out quite as much as the rest of my hair, and she went in and did a reverse balayage which blended my roots, got rid of the yellow band, and gave me a much lower maintenance style. Had the pleasure of getting my hair colored by an amazing hair color specialist Linson. I'm specially picky about who dies my hair due to having thick Latino hair. I did a little research and came across his Instagram and was very familiar with his technique to get that lived-in hair color look. They got me in on extremely short notice. Gave me my first cut in over a year just because I didnt trust area barbers after a bad experience on the trim before. This place renewed my faith in commercial haircuts. My grand parents ran a beauty shop in my small home town for 25+ years. The speed, interest to personal preference and professional environment put this on par for me with what I was use to growing up to. Let your mind be at ease knowing they can handle whatever you want or throw at them and kick back even while enjoying a drink. I believe my barbers name was B.J.
