The entire experience was worth five stars. Great communication with Raj in the office before, during and after the move. On the day, Jake and Rick turned up as arranged and worked tirelessly to fill the truck . Friendly and polite, they handled everything very carefully throughout. The following day and after a 120 mile drive, they arrived at our new home and again worked tirelessly to move our possessions. We had this firm of removal people to move us after living in our house for 23 years. Initially Rob came to do a survey and estimate how much we had to move and the cost. This survey lasted about half an hour and was very friendly and there was lots of good advice. I had already spoken to Gail in the office and she was friendly and helpful and sent us an email to help with our move. This gave hints and tips for packing as well as a list of people to notify etc.We asked for a quote on the packing service as well as the dismantling and reassembling cost. Although this seemed a bit costly we decided to go with it. All I can say is that its worth every penny. They were fantastic . We had been very stressed but they took all that away and were incredible. Dave and Rick came the first day and did the majority of the packing and loading. The second day they were joined by Jake. Again he was brilliant.To summarise they are an amazing company who offer amazing value for money. You can certainly do it cheaper but to take away the stress and strain they are worth every penny. Look no further!! You're probably reading this because you are moving house soon or need to put items into storage and want a reliable and competent company to do it for you. You've just found it!It's stressful enough selling and buying a house, so anything that can ease that stress has to be a good thing, and using Henry & Son for our move from Stoke Golding to North Yorkshire was the best thing we did.From first contact with Raj and Gail in the office, through to the removal itself, we were treated like valued customers throughout. Our completion dates were two weeks apart so our move had to be in two stages, with stage 1 seeing our possessions taken in to their storage centre in Hinckley, to be brought up to Yorkshire two weeks later. The two removal men for Stage 1 - Gary & Dave were top class - very professional and polite and we genuinely felt totally at ease as they went about "dismantling" our house of all our items.Stage 2 went just as smoothly, this time it was Dave with Rick and Jake who were equally professional and very respectful that we had brand new carpets and took great care with everything. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They provided a flawless service from start to finish, my wife and I are so glad that we opted to move with Henry & Sons.
Gary and Jake are a couple of stars, real grafters and really pleasant guys, we couldn’t believe how quickly they worked and how at ease they made us feel; the move was far less stressful thanks to them. Then there’s the distance! This was almost a 1000 mile round trip and the price paid was a real bargain; almost half what Pickfords quoted!!

Can't praise them highly enough - my only complaint is that they don't do international removals which we needed prior to this move and Pearsons, our alternative movers, were a disastrous choice. Luckily Henry & Sons could make our latest move as stress free as they promised. Friendly, professional and conscientious. The care they took of our furniture and both homes was second to none.

We recently used Henry and sons for our house move from Nuneaton to Hereford. I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent quality of service throughout the whole process .
Robert Taylor first provided a detailed and reasonably priced quote on our requirements and some good advice on the removal procedure .
We needed to alter our scheduled dates several times but Raj in the admin dept was considerate , helpful and reassuring on a number of occasions and their date tracking service was invaluable.
On the day of the removal wayne, jake and Rick arrived dead on time and worked tirelessly throughout the day ; first loading everything carefully and it seemed almost effortlessly ;and then at the other end repeating the process making sure that the heavy items were put where we wanted so we didn't need to do any heavy lifting ourselves .
They really could not have been more polite,cheerful or accommodating .
Moving home is a stressful activity but certainly for us the people at Henry and son made it an awful lot easier than it could have been. We are very grateful for the service we received and would recommend them without hesitation . More...

We moved house on the 29th June 2018, it was a very hot and sunny day. We also had the packing service. We had a truly wonderful and stress free service, from booking to move day. From start to finish the removal guys were extremely professional and always checked with us if they had any questions. We cannot recommend Henry and Sons enough - the team Gary, Dave, Simon, Terry and Kieran arrived early, their work ethic is brilliant and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, they arrived at 8 and didn’t leave till 5 and maintained their friendly nothing was too much approach all day. Cannot praise them enough.
Having not moved for 14 years there were numerous phone calls made to the office staff particularly Raj who seemed to get both mine and my husbands questions which were always answered in a friendly manner again nothing was to much trouble, no question deemed ‘silly’ even if I knew it was!!

Henry & Son came today to move my things into storage. There were 6 men in the house packing all my stuff and putting it into large storage crates. Every one in the company has been polite, friendly, professional and very kind and helpful. I would just like to say how easy you made it for me.. A very delayed review but very worthy 5 stars review. We moved back in December 2017 on what was possibly the coldest day of the year. The ground was thick with snow and ice , which certainly added to the challenge of moving house. With the help of Henry and Sons we successfully made it through the day and all went smoothly even if a bit of ice skating was involved. The team worked consistently hard from 8am -7pm at night and didn't stop until the job was done. The Cooper /Hebdens move from Hinckley to Lyneham, Wiltshire went as smoothly as possible on the day, after a hectic start. From the moment I contacted Henry and Sons in a panic (as we had a week to move) they pulled out all the stops to help. They were very courteous and professional throughout. henry and sons moved us home when we moved last time. every time i have moved previously i have moved myself, well NEVER again. they was profesional and polite and took great care of my stuff. the stress was completely took away from the normal hassle of moving. if i could give 10 stars i would. We had Henry and Son organise our move recently. In all areas they were very very good. The initial assessment, quoting and booking process was very straightforward and professionally done. While most of the companies we looked at were similarly professional, what set Henry & Son apart was the 'moving pack' that was a really nice touch, and contained moving checklists, planning documents etc. The quote was the most competitive we had too.

The guys who helped us move were great. Very polite, very tidy and very friendly (not just to me as the customer, but to neighbours too). It seemed like nothing was too much trouble, and they made sure that the process was as easy as possible. We had a few awkward requirements (like our sofa had to be taken out the back and moved over a wall) and they did it without an issue.

I'd strongly recommend them and while I might not move for some time i'd definitely use them again. More...
