Had the three count chicken tenders yesterday! it's also organic got the avocado ranch dipping sauce phenomenal... As well as the honey mustard sauce very tasty! Absolutely,will eat there again!

Crispy chicken sandwich was good, as was the peach BBQ sauce. However it was about the same as Chick fil a. We grabbed the world's fastest lunch here before Stephen Colbert. The chicken tenders are huge. We got the six piece and we easily could have gotten a smaller order and still split it. This is as close to Southern flavored fair in this area your going to get. I have been to multiple/different places down South. The chicken is great. The menu is simple and well done. Hailing from Raleigh, North Carolina this southern belle knows her fried chicken and the secret is in the batter! My go to is the Classic Luxe sandwich meal and then I do a mix of their lemonade and sweet tea for a southern classic drink an Arnold Palmer. Recently I've also tried their chicken tenders (they are ginormous and doubt you should be ordering 6 pieces, so I strongly advise to stick to 3) and their salads. My favorite salad is the Cobb, very hearty and filling and the mix ins are perfect. The Italian dressing is on the spicy/zesty side.If you like pomme frites, then you'll like their dipping sauces. My top 3 are Peach BBQ, Avocado Parmesan and Hot Honey Mustard.The customer service is helpful, quick, friendly and efficient. I work a block over so the lunch hour is packed but I've never had to wait long. They also have some random and sporadic deals like buy one, get one in the evenings or 10% off etc. They had a frequent buyers card but I keep misplacing mine. More...

Im late, this was on Wednesday. First off... The sample girl outside, larraine, was amazing. She was friendly and even showed me directions to the train. I sampled the Nashville hot with slaw, pickles and onions with sweet tea. She also explained to me that the onions was a side and did not come on the sandwich (even though it should). This was the first place I have been in New York City where I really enjoyed the sweet tea. I also recommend trying a few of the different sauces, they are all really good. Staff is super nice.

If you're looking for a quick chicken sandwich, look no further. Â this totally beats waiting in line at Chick-Fil-A (I don't get the hype there). Â This chicken is completely fresh and AMAZING. Â get the meal cause the fries are 10x better than your average fast food. Â there's plenty of dipping sauces. Â Only reason it didn't get more stars is because it's extremely expensive. Hen Penny chicken sandwich is pretty tasty. I got the HP chicken with bacon combo. Cost me $11 and some change. The sandwich bun was super glossy due to the exess amount of oil and the chicken wasn't the juciest. But all together, it was a pretty tasty sandwich. The pickles stood out the most by adding a sweet and sour taste to the sandwich, and the seasoned bacon on its own was delicious. It added the much needed savory taste to otherwise normal chicken. Hen Penny also offers 4 different sauces on the side which will go great with anything on the menu. I would recommend this place for anyone who's into fried chicken. Just tried Hen Penny for the first time today for lunch. Had the chicken tenders, fries, fried pickles and iced tea. Service was quick and accurate. I thought the fooos was excellent! I asked for some Nashville sauce on the side to try see if I could handle the heat, and it is great. It is hot but not so hot I was crying or anything. Only disappointment was that the fried pickles were spears not chips which I prefer. Menu didn't really specify and I forgot to ask when I ordered. They were good but I just prefer chips.
