We ate lunch at Hemingways yesterday. I had ordered Cuban Sandwiches and they are large and damn good. I have to say that it was the best Cuban I have had in years. I also had the yucca fries and they were also very good. Loved their Teavana green tea with fruit flavors. My daughter had a black bean burger with something else on it which she ate readily. Went to Hemingway's for the first time yesterday & was so glad I did! Had the Hemingway Cuban w/Yucca fries, a glass of their Sangria, for desert the Dulce de Leche stuffed Tres Leche cake & of course Cafe con Leche to top it off. Everything was fantastic! We ordered the Hemingway Cuban Sandwich it was delicious. A typical Cuban sandwich. My mom had the yucca fries and I opted in for the black beans and rice. The ropa vieja here is amazing! I loved it so much! the meat was very tender and juicy. I did not wait very long for my food. the only reason I am giving this place for stars is because my ropa vieja was pretty expensive compared to everything else at armature works. Great food and service. Atmosphere is great and it is truly Cuban food. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure to get there early as I have been there a few times and they have run out of some items since they are usually busy.

Wonderful Cuban food & loved their spicy sauce ... great experience.I ordered the LA Frita Cubana sandwich which is a blend of Sausage, Chorizo, Pork & Beef but you must request their spicy sauce that makes it amazing ! !
