Hello Harriet Photography asked what I’d like and suggested lots of different ideas. All I wanted was some natural pictures of my little one being his smiley self in our new home. I couldn’t of asked for a better photographer at our wedding last month. From us first meeting having our consultation I knew I wanted Emma at our big day. Emma was wonderful with my 10 week old son Archie, he is not an easy baby and I almost postponed the photoshoot as he had been suffering with such bad colic and was very unpredictable but Emma had the magic touch and handled him with such patience that she not only managed to take all the pictures she needed she took absolutely stunning photos. So pleased with the results from our newborn photo shoot with Emma. Our little girl was only 13 days old & along with our little boy of 2 years 4 months we thought Emma would have had her work cut out! She was excellent throughout. The planning what goes into the photo shoot was incredible. Emma came to our home which saved us venturing out on a cold January day & she brought such a vast amount of props with her. We couldn’t have asked for more from Emma. She came to our house and the best natural light was in our play room, meaning lots of distraction for our two year old. Emma was so patient and had lots of tricks up her sleeve to get smiles - the most successful of which were raspberries! As for our newborn, Emma was great at calming him for the photos. What can I say.. we are a family that does not revel in being in front of the camara. You ask my husband to smile and an impression of Chandler Bing from friends quickly follows! ! We chose Sandringham as the background for a family shots this Autumn and within 5 mins Emma had us all at ease.. It was more like a Lovely Sunday afternoon walk with a good friend than a photoshoot! With 5 children ranging in age from 13 years to 9 months I've never really managed to get a photo of them all looking the same way! Emma was absolutely fantastic with the children when we ventured to the woods for our photo shoot, she not only put them at ease with her friendly personality but also made it 100% fun! After a really cold outdoor shoot we felt sure there can't have been any nice photos but we absolutely loved the shots Emma got. She was a real pro at getting our children to smile despite the windy conditions and she didn't stop snapping from beginning to end. Emma photographed our little boy when he was 12 days old. Before the shoot we spoke to emma about what we wanted. She listened to our ideas and provided all the props necessary. She came to our home which meant we didn't need to venture out with our little one. With a new born baby I was also apprehensive as to whether he would behave on the day. I didn't need to worry. Emma was excellent at calming George and getting the perfect shots. After the shoot we received our edited pictures really quickly and were able to use them on our thank you cards. The best thing about Emma whilst on a photo shoot is the amount of time she spends making the photo's as personal as possible. When the kids got bored she knew just how to entertain them and captured so many wonderful photo's that we will treasure forever. Emma is a friendly, kind, warm lady who made us feel at ease throughout our entire afternoon together. Emma was amazing at our wedding. She was so calm and professional and was able to easily slot in with everything happening at the wedding. Emma was so great while photographing Blake. Being a prem baby and only 4lb when his photos were taken, he was quite unsettled too start, Emma managed to settle him within seconds of positioning him and was so delicate and gentle with him. She has the patience of a saint ,especially when Blake kicked off because of dirty nappies and wanting too feed. Emma had an impressive amount of props to use and also incorporated alot of mine and Blakes personal things into photos!
