Soooo, I wanted turkey so I decided to go to my lil shop tryong to beat the church crowd. They were closed. So I decided to find me another soul food restaurant online. Found one. I get here and the ladies are very friendly and one was really talking up the food, so Im like 'yea right'. The oxtails looked really good so I decided on them instead of turkey (the gravy just looked good). I knew the sweet potatoes werent from the can because of the way they were cut. I didnt want the cabbage, but needed another veggie, they had greens (are they from the can - NO!!!). So the oxtails are gone, I didnt really want the rice, the sweet potatoes are almost finished and the greens may have to wait a while cause im FULL as a tick. And I havent tried this German Butter Cake yet (bedtime snack maybe ). I must say I am very pleased that I found this place.... More...
