I have just had a gas fire installed, I called, they made an appointment to quote for the job and within days of the fire arriving at the retailer they came out and installed it. Having had a bathroom installed by this company about 5 years ago, which still looks and functions as well as when it was new, I contacted them about the minor problem of a smelly washing machine. Terry came to check out the plumbing the following day, reassured me that all was fitted correctly, and left me with advice of what to use to rectify the whiffy problem. Terry, Dorian & Chris recently fitted a large shower cubicle in place of the bath for me due to my husbands illness. The service they gave was excellent & I would recommend them to anybody. They were friendly, knowledgable & efficient. Their work is of the highest standard & their attention to detail something that I have never experienced before. They were mindful of my husband’s needs associated with his illness & made us both feel like friends & not just customers. We have used this family firm for the last four years and on every occasion Dorian has been able to diagnose any boiler problems over the phone, has given us a price for the work needed and come around and fixed the problem at the arranged time. I am really pleased with the service I have had from Heatwave Heating. Having found some companies somewhat unreliable since moving to Cornwall, all the dealings I have had with Terry and Dorian have been fantastic. Attended promptly and when said they would, work is excellent cannot fault their work ethic and generally a really, really nice bunch of chaps to deal with. Utter faith in these guys,they're reasonably priced and competent. We've had a shower refit after constant leaks and bungled attempts to rectify. Dorian got things sorted together with his Dad and now we're leak free!They've also sorted two problems with our gas boiler promptly. They leave the place tidy and we've left them house keys to get on with work whilst at work ourselves.We'd have no hesitation in recommending Heatwave to anybody needing the services they provide! I rang this company as my boiler went pop. An engineer called Dorian came out within 3hrs. He explained what happened to the boiler and was very educated. He sent me a quote for a boiler change that evening and was able to fit me in the next day after moving some work around. Terry (Dorian’s Dad) installed a new glow worm and it works great.
