Alison is fantastic. She worked with us since Brodie was a wee pup, and her patience and kind determination helped us immensely. Her "out and about" classes were especially useful, setting Brodie up for good behaviour out in the real world. Her methods are 100% positive and always encouraging. Brodie absolutely adored her, and I deeply appreciated her rock of support. Sadly we've recently moved back to Scotland and I haven't yet managed to persuade Alison to hold weekly classes here too - I'm working on it! More...

I was referred to Alison through a friend recommendation, when my dog Whiskey (he's a German-Australian Shepherd) was just 2 months old and I never looked back to search for another trainer. I was very pleased and satisfied with her approaches during our puppy training class and decided to continue with "Out and About" program when Whiskey was a little bit older. Whiskey is a dog who is quite nervous, shy and gets distracted very easily, hence the beginnings were rather challenging, but Alison gave me tools, skills and confidence to support Whiskey through his training. She helped me read his behaviour, be very aware of our surroundings and also helped me understand how to advocate for Whiskey when we are out in the community. Alison's 1:1 sessions as well as "Out & About" classes were amazing. Both Whiskey and I look forward to more! More...

Alison’s approach to dog training unlike a lot of other approaches, is so gentle and positive and the results we have seen with our golden have been like magic.
Watching her work with our dog, she quickly gained her love and respect and with Alison's patience and skill, we watched our girl become a more confident and happy dog. Her classes taught us how best to work with our dog using only positive reinforcement. (Alison only used positive reinforcement with us too, as we learned)! It is clear that Alison has both a love and a passion for dogs and we feel blessed to have her in all of our lives. We are really looking forwards to introducing our dog to Alison's upcoming "Tricks" class this spring.
