Hi we are Alan & Amanda at Hearts & Paws, we have over 15 years experience with dogs, particularly huskies, spaniels, Yorkshire Terriers and Westie's and cats. We have five huskies and a Westie of our own. We have both been brought up around animals all our lives and love animals very much.

You will not find more reliable, trustworthy or caring people to care for your pets. This was our first time leaving our two Labradors with sitter whilst we went on holiday and after this experience we would definitely do it again. We received daily updates and pictures and Amanda and her husband went above and beyond what was expected. After using many different dog walkers for my hyper Whippet/Collie cross (many rubbish with no understanding of his needs), I came across Alan. He formed an instant bond with my dog Jack, who became putty in his hands. I have now used him several times and will continue to do so. What do you love most about your job?
We simply love animals, we have grown up with animals all our lives from dogs, cats, mice, rabbit's, guinea pigs, birds, fish and reptiles. We love to know that your dogs are having fun in a safe caring environment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have six dogs of our own and we know the struggle when you need help with your pet and the importance of having some you can trust and rely on which is why we decided to start our own dog walking business.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are insured, DBS checked and have over 15 years experience. We are caring, friendly and reliable and we will try our best to accommodate for yours and your pets needs.
Dog Walking
We offer dog walking at 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. We are available 7 days a week from 7am til 6pm. We also offer discounts for block bookings.
Pet Sitting
We offer a pet sitting service if you go away on holiday or for a wedding. We do overnight stays if required or we can do pop in's, walk your dog and feed them.
Home Visits
If you are working all day we can provide a pop in service and let your dog out, have a play, feed or take for a walk.
Pet taxi
We offer a pet taxi service if you need to get to the vets or the groomer's. We also do out of hours for a small charge.
