Kelvin is a great DJ/Emcee! He listens to his clients and has a plethora of knowledge to share. He was the DJ for my wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased with this work. I received compliments and some wanted his contact information, which I passed along to them. About 6 hours before my wedding, I requested that my processional song into the ceremony be changed. Heart Beat Music was absolutely amazing. Chaunta was so sweet and knew exactly how to read the crowd at our wedding.

We did a brunch wedding and we weren’t really sure what type of music our guests would be into. She knew exactly what songs to play.

When I first reached out Heart Beat Music about our wedding, we were in the early stages of planning and I told Kelvin August 8th, then we changed to August 15th and forgot to tell him, which was a big mistake on our end. When we started finalizing the plan for the day and songs, we realized the date was wrong and Kelvin wasn’t available on our new date. He quickly assured us that Chaunta was amazing and would take great care of us.

I was so stressed about how the day would play out and the timing of when everything would happen. When Kelvin was helping us, he planned out everything to the minute: when the groom walked down the aisle, when I (the bride) walked down the aisle, the time frame for pictures, etc. My now husband and I had never been to a wedding and didn’t know how the timing of everything worked. Kelvin walked us through every step of the wedding and gave suggestions based on previous weddings he’s done.

On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect and Chaunta was so flexible when our pictures went way over the allotted time. It was so easy to tell her if we wanted to change anything.

Overall, we had an amazing wedding and experience with Heart Beat Music. We would definitely use them in the future for events.

Kelvin supplied the perfect DJ for our event, not only was she knowledgeable about the songs but was able to play them almost instantly. She was very kind and professional and ready to answer questions about who recorded the song and when.
