For our wedding in August i wanted to be a real life princess for the day. And as all princesses need a castle thats what i asked for . .... and we were delivered the most beautiful princess castle just what i asked for.

We opted for the rhubarb and custard for the princess castle and a vanilla sponge cutting cake in case we needed more and both flavours were hit especially the rhubab and custard :-)

Would reccomend a million times over to any one who asked.

I was so lucky to have come across Sarah and Heart and Soul Cakes when looking to commission a cake for my mum's 60th. The cake will be a talking point for some time, the personal replica items of jewellery were spotted straight away (the detailing. .wow), the jewellery box with sliding drawer and the bottle of Chanel No. 5 ...well, it all totally summed up my mum and just looked fabulous. I just wanted to take the time to 'thank you' for all of your help, support, and of course the cake, for our Wedding Day on 29. 05.17.

After meeting you at the Vaulty Manor wedding fair, we knew that we had to book you! You made us feel so welcome in your studio during our tasting, and as you know it was so hard for us to make a decision on all of your wonderful cake flavours that we decided to choose five!

Guests were very complimentary of the cake, in fact there was none left by the end of the night! (Luckily we asked for some to be put to one side for us otherwise we wouldn't have had any!).

Once again thank you for all of your hard work and for producing our ideal wedding cake. We would DEFINITELY recommend you to others! x More...

Living in Australia and getting married in the UK, I had come across Heart & Soul cakes online and was blown away by the images of all of Sarah's creations and the amazing reviews that she had received. After a number of emails, in which Sarah was so friendly and quick to get back to the million questions that I asked, I booked her to create our wedding cake. Our wedding took place last week at Blake Hall in Ongar, Essex and the cake was incredible! Not only did it look amazing, but it was so delicious! I cannot even tell you the number of guests that came up to me, telling me how much they enjoyed the cake :) Sarah created a gluten free (I'm gluten intolerant!) crumb coat madagascan vanilla 3-tiered cake for us, which she adorned with flowers from our florist. First of all, I apologise that this review has taken so long! We got married last month and after hours of searching for someone to create our cake we came across heart and soul cakes. Everything went smoothly from our cake tasting right up until the day. The cake was 3 tiered with layers of Madagascan vanilla, chocolate with ganache and fruit cake. I only got to taste the vanilla but it was delicious! Family commented on how lovely and moist the fruit cake was and how tasty the chocolate was. The cake turned out exactly how we wanted it; simple but elegant and you did such a great job. The flowers with the pink ombre effect were exactly what I pictured and looked lovely.
The cake looked perfect at our wedding, so thank you for doing such a great job!! More...

We got married on 18 November 2017 at Hedingham Castle and Heart & Soul cakes was the perfect find for our wedding cake! ! I happened to come across Sarah on Facebook, we were able to do a tasting of three flavours and they were amazing!! Sarah was so helpful and responsive and delivered our cake on the morning of the wedding with no problems. Of course everyone was very complimentary on how it looked but also the amazing taste!

Sarah and her cakes are amazing. I enquired about a cake at short notice with a very specific idea and the outcome was better than I could imagine. She worked with my ideas and advised me on what would and wouldn't work. The best thing about the cakes is that the don't only look fantastic, taste wonderful too. So i was looking for someone to make my unsual themed wedding cake for a while " til death do us part" sarah wasnt thrown at all and listened to everything i wanted ( which was alot) she also allowed my two sons to come along to the cake tasting and made them feel very included.
