I recently attended a 4 week strength and conditioning workshop with Stuart. I have to say that Health by Science offers an amazing opportunity for students to gain greater understanding for practice. Stuart has great knowledge and experience in helping physio's and other professionals to explore the world of conditioning to strength with clinical reasoning.I would highly recommend Health by Science to anyone looking to further their knowledge in the strength and conditioning field. I would also recommend that anyone requiring physiotherapy get in touch as they provide excellent patient-centred therapy with a holistic approach. More...

Cannot recommend highly enough! As a health science student, I’ve had a unique opportunity to be a part of a team and watch Health by Science staff deliver services at the best of their ability. Since day one, I have been consistently impressed with Health by Science team’s attitude and approach towards their clients and patients. Each and every client or patient will be treated with respect, dignity, and compassionate care. In the period that I have interacted with Health by Science clinic, they not only came across as remarkably organized and professional group, but also as a very friendly and courteous team. An amazing team with great knowledge and care! As a part of my Sport Science studies I have been given the amazing opportunity to work beside and learn from the amazing team at Health by Science in both their stroke survivors class and strength and conditioning class with Stuart. Whilst in my placement I have seen the care and respect they have for there clients. From day one I have been continually impressed with their depth of knowledge and organisation. Health by Science have helped me recover from an Achilles Tendonitis injury, while also enabling me to increase my level of fitness. They adapted the training to ensure comfortable recovery but still be challenging. Training sessions are planned to be enjoyable, targeting my goals, but within these I’m encouraged to go beyond my own expectations. Craig ensures that progress is made safely with emphasis on technique before increasing either weight or sets. I recently attended a 4 week strength and conditioning workshop, and had the opportunity to sit in on the stroke survivor classes over a number of weeks. Stuart and the team are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and always willing to help in any way they can, whether a patient, client or student. As a 4th year physiotherapy student, this has been an amazing opportunity for me to further develop my knowledge and practical skills in a clinical/gym environment. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to develop their strength and conditioning knowledge and its application in practice. Would fully recommend all services, especially their stroke survivor classes, with its unique approach and support, you wont find anything like it. Their members’ results speak for themselves. I’ve been training with them since November and I’m very happy with my progress, the staff is very friendly and very professional. Prime quality equipment and very convenient for me since I live only couple blocks away. I couldn’t recommend more this place. Tennis Elbow Treatment. What I like about Health by Science is their pro-active approach without holding up the red card. Stuart has helped me a lot with exercises and understanding how best to manage the condition whilst still playing through it. The group physio sessions are very motivating and it's a good opportunity to make sure one is doing the movements correctly and check in with them on the progress of your condition. They are genuinely interested in getting you better whilst still playing your sport. More...

After receiving physiotherapy for my back and shoulder issues I was never able to return back to gym without experiencing so much discomfort and anxiety. I had all but given up on my career in fitness and had no confidence in a gym environment. In a last ditch attempt I searched for a physiotherapist that was able to help me return to the gym, and was lucky enough to find Stuart from Health by Science.

After my initial consultation with Stuart I was inspired with hope that things could actually get better. He was very informative and supportive, and I was confident that he could help me.

After I began training with Stuart I have never once looked back. Stuart slowly built up exercises so that my back and shoulder felt comfortable, but also got stronger and stronger. Over the past few months I have learned so many new skills and my confidence has grown so much. My shoulder and back have never felt better!

The best thing about training with Stuart is his wholistic approach and his commitment to his clients. Not only has he made fantastic programmes that are tailored to my goals, but also helped completely turn my diet around. He regularly checks up on my diet and training and helps tackle any barriers that crop up.

Stuart has really helped reignite my passion for fitness and my aspirations of working in the industry. He has been sending me so much reading material and helped me learn how to find credible sources of information, as well as basic skills to use when researching. Not only this I have also been presented with an invaluable volunteering opportunity. I think its fair to say that Stuart and the Health by Science team always go the extra mile.

I would highly recommend Health by Science for personal training as the guys are very professional, knowledgeable and motivating. The work out � with Ross have actually changed the way I see food and how much I enjoy exercising. Ross can nail every fitness goal. I am impressed how much Ross incorporated my exercise preferences into the training.
