I've had Marylou photograph me at least five times. Many of the shoots were yoga sessions. One would think shooting someone in a yoga pose is not hard - but truthfully the angle has to be correct lest the model or pose doesn't look good. I know, as I've had other photographers not get it right. One of my photo shoots produced nearly 400 usable shots! Marylou also took some of the most beautiful photos of my son and I when he was little, including those of him nursing. Her personality is such that I feel very relaxed and at ease myself with her. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Lighting, style, clothing (if photographing people), location.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
A consultation is always important in the work. and the questions are different for different types of sessions.
Wedding: how many hours do you need coverage, where, when, how many in wedding party.
Portraiture: what type of portratis (business, social media, family, couple) location, outfit changes
Commercial: products, interiors, exteriors, event
What do you love most about your job?
Photography is a lifelong dream! It is a source for many talents we are gifted with: creativity, technical skills, & most importantly people skills. Although I do quite a bit of commercial work: products, conventions, corporate imaging; I love photographing people. Interactions, emotions and capturing a persons spirit is my passion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Simple, I wanted to be a business owner. I've worked for many awesome studios in Las Vegas over the years but I wanted to control my own work & schedule,

I am very conscientious, and a perfectionist. I have a fast turnaround. All images will be digitally processed only.
