The experience at first was great, the whole team were attentive and professional. I had the Brazilian blow dry for my course, wavy/curly hair I was assured the effect would last up to three months. I was already using a paraben/sulphate free shampoo which the hairdresser assured was okay. At first my hair was great as it was manageable, but after 6 weeks my hair was back to its normal form...frizzy wavy and unmanageable! I called to request some input but I was told out right that since I haven’t been using the in store purchased shampoos they can’t guarantee the effect, there was no other alternative suggested, I’m now left with a failed treatment and my hair back to its normal form. Had a rather pleasant experience getting a hair cut from Roopal. Got a good consultation with her at the beginning. She didn't push me into anything and understood what I was asking for. I showed her a few pictures before deciding on what wad best for my hair. I'm surprised some people haven't had a good experience here. I will be looking forward to my next appointment with her. Have only ever had a fantastic experience here! Reading some of the reviews I realise people expect too much without being clear about what they want, people also expect them to work miracles with their hair, some times the right colour can take a few tries, that's not the hairdressers fault. People complaining about the price when, a simple Google search will show you it on either their website or on Treatwell, it's also the first thing you see at the reception desk. I have had many a bad experience ELSEWHERE, even with a trusted stylist, I just learnt to be very clear and watch what it is being done with my hair. Shabana and other stylists I have seen previously in store have always been very friendly, and have understood exactly what I want, as we are always very clear with eachother. You can't expect them to read your mind or be able to predict how your hair reacts to certain cuts and colours, especially if you have never been to them before. When they are busy they have always been very apologetic, offering drinks while I wait, I am happy to do so as you can see they are rushed off their feet with more bookings than their are stylists, give them a break, they work hard! Will always recommend headmasters Ealing to a friend, but as I would with any hairdressers, you have to be VERY clear about what you want. Only you know what image you have in mind, and only you know what your hair natural does, so if you have dead straight hair, don't show them a picture of a cut with someone with naturally curly hair and expect your hair to turn out like that. Nilson was fantastic and as a previous experience didn't go well for me, I eventually complained but was awarded with a free hair cut with the owner of this branch. Nilson (the owner) treated me extremely well, really listened to what I wanted and understood me perfectly. He delivered extremely well, gave me lots of volume to my hair, was really attentive and genuinely cared about my experience. The lovely Caterina trimmed my daughter's hair today. She discussed with us how we would like her hair done and showed us before hand how much she was going to trim off. She made my 9 year old feel at ease and was very gentle in her approach and work. Caterina was very knowledgeable about afro hair which also made us very comfortable despite being surrounded by images of only white people. My daughter and I left very happy. More...

I would absolutely recommend Headmasters in Ealing to anyone. I went in with dirty ash blonde hair which I hated and the lovely Ella transformed my hair back into lovely fresh clean blonde barbie locks. She understood exactly what I wanted and actually exceeded my expectations with how lovely the colour is. Ella also blow dried my hair and styled it so nicely - when I've been at other salons I've just hated the way they've finished my hair but really it was perfect. I'm so happy with my hair now! First time I went here and the hairdresser I had was brilliant! It started with my own bottle of water and two biscuits, then a hair consultation with the lovely hairdresser. They massage your head while you sit on massage chairs and it really is a nice experience. They throughly explain what they are doing at each stage and the cleanliness is great!
