I was raised in Vancouver, BC. I was always active from a young age playing soccer and rugby.

I def tried a few trainers and didn’t seem to get a proper personalized workout , Sid cared a lot about my progress not just getting through the work out , I kept with it and followed the meal plan and saw major changes

I first heard about Sid over social media and was eager to start training with him after seeing him go above and beyond to make sure his clients achieve their set goals. As a competitive athlete, Sid has helped me attain goals such as making weight by a certain period of time, being able to lift more than I ever thought I could, and overall allowing me to become a better person. I have been a client of Sid for over a year & all I can say I can’t recommend him enough. He is not only a most professional trainer I have worked with but also an up-to date with all the latest techniques. Sid not only helps me on my training days with him but also gives me plan how to train on the days when I am on my own. I have noticed improved strength, endurance and more flexibility in my body since I started working out with him. I have gotten meal planning from him and help with healthy recipes. Our workouts are strict at times but also fun he always gives me goals and keeps on top of my Progress. I am a bit of slacker so every time I am late I get to do 100 push-ups, which have probably gotten rid of my habit of tardiness. I would also like to mention Lucas, who just joined HD fitness a while ago, and I work out with him twice a week and three times with Sid. Lucas works with me on size and strength, and he is a competing body builder. It’s been an amazing combination of two through professionals who have great skills in their areas of expertise. HD Fitness is awesome. Both Sid and Lucas work very hard with their clients to achieve their goals. In April, I made the decision to join HD Fitness and this was the best decision. I see a huge difference in my body and has changed my lifestyle. I'm down more than 20 pounds in just first few weeks with many more to go. I started to work out in April with Sid and Lucas. These two are amazing trainers! they keep me motivated all the time and the workouts are off the chart. !They have a lot of knowledge when it comes to fitness, health and nutrition. Each workout is different and hard but well worth it. I like the fact they during our workouts they are so focused on me getting the most out of it. They do whatever it takes to accommodate my shift-work schedule and are always on hand when I have a question or need advice. Above all, they are very caring guys who want the best for their clients. I am currently a client of Sid Akbari and doing workout with him 3-4 times /wk . So far I lost 10 kg out of my 25 kg target in 6 months . He is so caring and make you to follow your goal . Always motivating to do better . I tried atleast 10 training in 6-7 years but was never consistent with anyone . I found Sid different because he is not looking into your pocket to have more sessions and delivering nothing like others did to me . In 2 months I am fully motivated and he also guides me about my meal planning though I am not fully following his instructions otherwise I know I might be another 10 kg down . Sid is one of the most awesome people I know. He's incredibly knowledgable and passionate not just about training, but physical wellness in general. He's always on top of the latest research. The best part about working with Sid is he genuinely cares about his clients and giving them the tools to help themselves. I've worked with him twice now and I always left a workout feeling good and more motivated. He doesn't give up and checks up on your diet. Warning! Easily and undoubtedly one of the best trainers in the lower mainland. Dedicates countless hours of his life for his clients in and out of the gym everyday. As his younger brother I’ve see him wake up 4 am for early morning sessions, come home at 8,9,10 pm and continue to work through the night building programs for clients. Too much to say not enough words. Great character, coach and mentor to work with. He practices what he preaches and implements the same onto his clients. He does not quit on you even when you have given up on yourself. He will push you to be the best you can be and achieve all your fitness goals. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! I have known & trained with Sid since 2013 (except for taking a year off from August 2016 to August 2017). When I returned to training with Sid in September 2017, I had gained a LOT of weight, and I weighed in at 255 lbs. My blood pressure was too high (140/90) and I was addicted to carbs & sugar. Since then, under Sid’s capable guidance, and following his recommendation for hard-core Keto, I have lost 82 lbs., and my blood pressure has dropped to 116/72. My doctor is thrilled, and so am I!

Sid is not only extremely knowledgeable & professional, he’s also very encouraging. It doesn’t matter if you want to lose weight, gain muscle, rehab an injury, or just learn to eat in a healthy way.... Sid can help you do it!
