Although my wife's name is listed above, this review is from me, Bill, the husband, father and grandfather of the family photos that Hailey took. From a man's perspective, family pictures are not high on our list of things to do on vacation in the mountains, however, Hailey made it to be a most enjoyable and successful photo session that resulted in some great pictures to choose from! Our family came from out of state for a week together in the mountains. My siblings and I wanted to get family pictures taken while we were all together as a gift for our parents. I figured I was asking for a tall order when I wanted photos of all of us (8 adults and 8 children from 3-18 y.o.) together, couples, individual families, siblings, individual pics of each of the 8 grandchildren, all in a beautiful setting with mountains and a lake in the background. Well, it was no tall order for Haylie. She exceeded our expectations as she put us all immediately at ease with her kind, laid back approach, her patience with my 2 young active boys, her choice of location which had mountains and a lake(!), her efficiency (we were done with each of the above photo poses - and many more creative ones - in less than 2 hours!), and the final results are stunning! The only problem will be selecting which ones to hang on our walls, because they are all. so. good. Great lighting, poses, color, just beautiful! Thank you, Haylie. What we thought would be a bummer of an evening on vacation “wasted” on taking family pictures, turned out to be a highlight of our trip as we found a new beautiful location to explore the next time we are in the area...captured forever by Haylie’s skillful photography! While we waited for our turn to have our pictures taken, we threw rocks into the water and just enjoyed the natural beauty. We booked Haylie to photograph our large family during our vacation. We had a large group, with many children of all ages. Haylie was so patient, intuitive, and warm. The kids all loved her, and it shows in the photos. What a treasure these photos are to our family. She has been great to work with afterward while selecting and purchasing the photos. We had a great experience with Haylie for our large family picture. My youngest is 2, so she was the challenge of our group of 18. Haylie was patient and knew the tricks to get her in the picture. Although she isn't sitting, my daughter made it into all the important pictures. She looks like she belongs in the picture, and isn't sticking out or looks like she was running away (which was what she was actually doing, lol). Haylie was professional, quick, and knew the best spots to get amazing pictures. My Florida friends cannot believe the setting is real in these pictures. My husband and I have never had professional photos done so when I got pregnant I really want to look back and love our pictures. When we choose Haylie it was for multiple reason, great price, easy to work with and had beautiful photos on her page. During our session she was so easy to work with, guided us and listened to our ideas. Once we got our photos back we were blown away!!! We had a family reunion up at Snow Mountain Ranch over the Christmas break. There were 10 adults and 8 kids (including a toddler and a baby). Haylie was very knowledgeable about the area and had great spots picked out ahead of time. She was very easy to work with, extremely flexible and quick to communicate. I recently booked Haylie for a surprise engagement photoshoot for my sister and her fiancé. We are from Georgia and were on vacation in Winter Park, CO when they got engaged. Haylie was amazing at helping me plan this surprise without my sister knowing and getting all the details together even with us being from another state. My sister absolutely loved working with Haylie, and said that she helped capture all the moments they wanted with all the beautiful scenery in CO. Haylie was very helpful in telling them what to do and where to stand, which is key to a good photographer. We vacationed here over the holidays and I wanted to have professional family photos, so I contacted Haylie and she was wonderful! Haylie was great to work with and scheduled our family photos on short notice, which we were so grateful! Not knowing the area very well, she took us to a great place to take different sceneries for our photos. She was very personable and caring about what we wanted and was great with my boys. Awesome experience from start to end and even better photographs. Started out with me wanting to set up a photo session as a surprise for the wife (this is her husband typing on her/family account); I never plan anything major, family-wise, so I already felt bad for the person that had to deal with me. Haylie was very responsive and patient with my plethora of question. She provided all the answers in a professional manner and scheduling was a breeze. Come picture day, she showed up on time and was such a pleasure to be around. She was easy going and we were able to chat about anything and everything; she truly wanted to get to know us to see how she could best reflect our family's personality in the shots. Our family is goofy and loves having fun and her pictures captured that perfectly (even though one involved me hitting my daughter in the head with a snowball, which didn't end well for me, but the picture looks awesome). During the session, she was excited, energetic and engaged, all while corralling us with 3 crazy kids and 2 crazier dogs; we were all laughing for most of the time. I guess that sums it up best; our smiles are genuine in our photos and that's all because of how Haylie interacts with her clients. Everything just flowed so well. We didn't feel rushed and it was a very fun experience. About a week later, we received the link to our gallery and the shots ended up better than expected. It was hard to pick and choose so we ended up ordering digitals of them all as well as a few prints. The ordering process is simple and quick. We will definitely use Haylie in the future; though I'll let the wife take care of the planning and logistics next time. We are so glad that we chose Haylie as our wedding photographer after considering a few options in the Denver and mountain ski town areas. Haylie was very reliable, flexible, easy to work with, and knew exactly what to do to make our day special and fun. Our wedding was in Grand Lake, and since we don't live there she was willing to scout out some nice outdoor photo spots for us, which was so helpful. She gave clear directions during the photos but was open to trying different things for us as well. We got our sneak peak photos earlier than expected, and can't wait to see the rest of them!
