We had Hawley Crescent cater our wedding this summer and they were great. They prepared an amazing grazing table for our cocktail hour with many cured meats and cheeses. The main courses were all excellent and perfectly cooked. Service was quick and polite. Sue and Roger worked with us during our initial tastings and prepared many high quality dishes for us to try. Roger, Sue,Mandy and all the wonderful people at Hawley Crescent Culinary Services made our wedding the wedding we dreamed of! From our first meeting at a cute coffee shop, we knew we were in great hands! We had several important people attending our wedding with dietary needs, and there was no issue with accommodating their needs, and definitely many options for them to enjoy! Keith's main concern regarding the wedding was that the food had to be good, and Hawley Crescent definitely delivered! Hawley Crescent Culinary Services catered our wedding at Bloom Field gardens on July 20, 2019. Guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! We absolutely loved the food and variety. People raved about the prime rib, list of ingredients for all the vegan and people with allergies, skor bars, and the wood fire oven pizza! Guests kept going back for more. Special thanks to everyone who cooked in 45 degree humidity weather!!! We could not believe you did that, and were so thankful for you. Quite a few guests also commented on a lady (we think she was possibly French Canadian?) who was very helpful because she was attentive to guests' dietary needs, pointing out what people with gluten intolerances could have. Having a bridal shower, this past Sunday, Hawley Crescent Culinary Services, truly made my soirée a complete success! We recently used Hawley Crescent to cater my father in law’s wake which we held at our home. From the moment I talked with Roger and Sue I knew everything was going to go smoothly. Sue coordinated all the rentals I needed so I only had to make one phone call and be done. Roger made some great suggestions about the food choices and reassured me that we would not run out despite working with an unknown number of guests. The day of the wake they arrived and had everything ready in no time and the presentation was out of this world. The food was fabulous and some people went up two and three times to sample everything. Our servers Nikki and Brady kept everything so replenished that I questioned a few times if the food had even been touched! We did not run out but we were not left with food for a week either which was perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending Roger and Sue for any event you had in mind and will definitely be using them again when the need arises. We picked up some pulled pork from Chef Roger this weekend. He put it in a vacuum sealed bag and when we got home we put it in a pot of water, brought it to a boil and in 12 minutes had delicious pulled pork sandwiches! Fast and easy. OMG!!! That sums up my experience with Hawley Crescent Culinary Services!!

I am very gluten and dairy intolerant. It is often a total pain to eat out. No issues here. They don't use glutenous products. Yay!!!

I had a stir fry at a business meeting with noodles, veggies, steak and chicken. Oh my. And the baby back rubs I took home fed hubby and I two meals. OMG OMG OMG!!!

Chef Roger and Sue put lots of love in all their dishes. We have enjoyed several of their take away dinners but most recently, we had the jerk ribs. They were delicious! Not too spicy, just the right amount of heat. They were a yummy addition to our BBQ dinner that Saturday night!

Have never before had a family event/party catered as I love to cook, however I decided to try it for Father's Day! Ordered the "Big Daddy"! What a huge mistake that was!!!!! If you're going to go to get any takeout in Durham Region (Whitby) or are in need of catering, make it Hawley Crescent! The thing I love most about this cozy little place is that they have something for everyone. Everything is prepared from scratch, using fresh ingredients, low sodium and is free of preservatives.

This place is not a chain and it never feels like it. I am grateful that I regularly have a networking meeting in the same building so I get a fabulous luncheon once a month and can get dinner at the same time. No only is Roger the chef passionate about the food that he cooks for others, he likes to meet people and learn their names.

Basically, the food is great! I love the take out meals that are vacuumed sealed for freshness and ready to eat in less than 15 min, the staff are friendly and you won't have to sell your kids into slavery to get a delicious meal with generous proportions. 5 stars! More...

What a memorable weekend thanks to Hawley Crescent! Our family all gathered in Prince Edward County to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. Sue, Roger, Scott and their entire team made our wedding dreams come true. They personalised every aspect of our menu and coordinated everything with us while we were overseas. They were accommodating, professional and emotionally invested in the success of our big day. From the menu, cocktails, furniture, decor, flowers and every little detail, Sue was on it.
