This is got to be my favorite restaurant to eat at in the entire world. The food is simple yet delicious and is consistently delicious. Flavor and spice are both well-rounded and lingering. I've had most of the menu and I strongly recommend the teriyaki beef or the teriyaki chicken to start. Mac salad is my go-to for the side and pairs really well with lava sauce and teriyaki sauce.Lava sauce is a mild hot sauce that has a slightly buttery finish. I love the food at this place! It's the closest I can get to authentic Hawaiian in Spokane. My favorite dish is the spam musubi. The prices here are very reasonable, the only thing you should keep in mind is even though this place has a drive through, it is not a fast food joint. This place always gets rave reviews by us and our friends who join us (the group gets bigger every year). Whenever we go, there's always locals getting some yummies (good sign for any place). Waiting 10 minutes for yummy katsu chicken is never a problem. This is more of a grab and go place during cold weather as there isn't really seating inside. I absolutely love this place their food is amazing!!!! If you like spicy foods they have this dish called lava bites they are sort of a Buffalo type sauce but it's home made with a special zing! !!
