Working with the team at Hawaiian Creative Weddings was great. We planned our wedding in just 6 weeks and I'm so grateful they were available! There was initially a slight miscommunication about the exact location the day of and I was a bit worried on the phone, but after meeting them where we were set up they were extremely kind, professional, and made our special day beyond perfect. We got the Hawaiian package with music and photos. We loved the conch blowing, lei exchange, Rev. David gave us a touching ceremony, and the music was that extra beautiful cherry on top and it made our attendees cry! The photos were beautiful and I received them just a few days after. I would 100% recommend them and loved everything about our wedding day. You won't be disappointed! :)Thanks again! More...

We were looking for a simple, stress-free marriage ceremony. Karen and Rev. Tasaka delivered perfectly. Our ceremony took place at Papa'iloa beach in the morning. We ordered the package that included a musician who sang and played guitar, photographer, and officiant which was a terrific value. Any questions and requests we had after booking were quickly answered and accomodated. The music by Eddie was beautiful and perfect. The photographer, Slave, took many beautiful shots and made it fun. They even gave us all the shots on a thumb drive right after the ceremony so we could do what we wanted with them instead of having to pick which ones we wanted. Rev. David Tasaka performed a beautiful ceremony and was so photogenic we can't help but smile when we see the shots that include him. We did not have a rehearsal nor was one needed. When we arrived at the beach early they were all already there and had chosen the perfect spot for us but you can always choose your own as well. Rev. Tasaka explained the ceremony and Slave took photos before, during, and after the ceremony while Eddie played music throughout. We highly recommend Hawaiian Creative Gay Weddings; stop searching and contact them, you won't be disappointed! More...

Mahalo to Rev David and Karen for an amazing ceremony! He was so sweet even though we started much later than planned. I'm not one to usually write reviews, mostly because I don't know what to say but I know we would definitely recommend this company to our friends & family.Photo by LuckyWeLive

Rev David definitely gave us a great everlasting experience. We appreciate everything he did. He was kind and emailed us back so quickly when we had a question. I would like to recommend him to others so that they may feel that happiness we felt. Thank you again!! More...

The situation: Six weeks before our big day, our friend told us they were unable to perform our wedding. OMG! Then a fellow wedding officiant recommended Reverend David Tasaka to us. He definitely saved our wedding ceremony!I hastily emailed David to ask if he was available to officiate our ceremony. Luckily, he was free. His wife Karen was so efficient at scheduling our ceremony, as well as setting up a meeting and also having David at our rehearsal (which we paid additional for). Both of them were so organized and always responded so quickly to my emails. Payment was easy, as the invoice was sent via Square. We met with David to see if he would be a good fit to officiate our wedding. He was so considerate and sent us a picture via email so we would know who to look out for when we met. His demeanor is so calm, and his positive energy calmed down this stressed-out bride-to-be! He is so easy to talk to, and we had a great conversation sharing how my fiancée (now husband) and I met (via match.com). I shared with him that it was my late mother's idea to look for a mate online, and David had the great idea that I share that during the ceremony! It was a perfect way to incorporate her memory into our big day. On their website hawaiiancreativeweddings… there are packages, details about both David and Karen, and a list of beautiful beach sites that they enjoy performing ceremonies at. There honesty isn't anything that I'd change about my wedding ceremony (even though it involved me "ugly crying" haha), and this is thanks to Rev. David! It flowed so smoothly and turned out even better than expected. More...
