My girlfriend and I did a Valentines Day week experience for Tuesday - Friday, IT WAS AWESOME! They have great recommendations where you can stay, places to visit based off of other client recommendations, and are extremely helpful on making your week experience the absolute best. I couldn't imagine doing OAHU any other way. With the camper, we had an easy place to stay and were able to get around the island with no problems. There's tons of Food trucks in North Shore to enjoy, tons of surf on the north west end, great hikes to enjoy, and all easily accessible with the van to park & go. Hawaii Surf Campers have a really good thing going on. I spent a week in Vegas Baby, made more memories than I can count cruising around the island, surfing whichever break I choose and sleeping under the stars at night. They answered all my questions promptly, introduced me to some great people and places I wouldn’t have known otherwise, and most importantly provided a van I could count on without booking any other accommodation. What a truly amazing time we had traveling around Hawaii in Margeta van.
Definitely a highlight of our stay in Hawaii.
Loved the freedom of being able to explore a great destination at out leisure.
Cooked pancakes every morning for breakfast before hitting the road.
Highly recommend renting one of their vans.

Rented for the first time in november 2017 and just loved it. It was the first time form me that I went on a roadtrip with a campervan. Lucas is super friendly guy that helped us a lot. Because of the great experience I decided to rent with his company again. This time we had the super cute Sandy. During our drive we got so many compliments about the car. In november 2017 my boyfriend and I rented Silvester and had a very good experience with the owner. So when i returned in september with my friend i didn't hesitate to rent from Hawaii Surf Campers again. This time we rented the van Sandy. Sandy is a very nice car i just loved the interior. So easy to use very oldschool! Lucas is very helpful, he responds super fast if you need help. He's got a good digital map that is very helpful while traveling in Oahu.

Took our 14 month old daughter camping for the first time! This was the best way to go camping and explore Oahu away from the crowds. Sleeping on the beach, waking up next to the ocean has been a dream of mine. Tango gave us memories we will never forget. Lucas made us feel comfortable and his recommendations were on point! I cannot say enough good things about this company and experience. We rented Vegas Baby for a week and absolutely loved it. If you want to see all of Oahu and not just the tourist trap of Waikiki, this is the only way to do it. We were able to experience the entire island, waking up on different beaches everyday. The van ran great and we had so much fun. My wife and I have never done anything like this before but Lucas and co made it such a great experience. They send a map with great suggestions of where to stay and what to do. Very professional and helpful. Seriously, if you are considering this at all, DO IT!! Trip of a lifetime. More...

Such an awesome experience and I cannot rate these guys highly enough. They went out of their way all the time to make sure all our questions were answered and make sure we were comfortable! We hired silvester and it's such an insane way to see the island, wayyy better than staying in a hotel! I absolutely loved this van!! Had such a fun time while on the island.We were in a couple SOS situations, mind you this van is super old and is bound to break down once in a while even with all the refurbishment. However our contact came to the rescue, he made it super easy for us and gave us many great tips. When i go back to the island i will 100% rent another van, maybe an automatic transmission this time as i am not a very experienced manual transmission driver.if it is the van life experience you are after you MUST rent one, it made our trip even better than I could have imagined!! Lucas was so very very helpful. From the beginning he was easily contactable, answered all my questions and was very flexible. He collected us from the airport and took us to to the north shore to collect Mallory the van we had hired. He gave us a map of places to stay and all relevant information needed to help us on our journey. The van was in great condition and well presented with fairy lights to make it feel more homely and rustic at night. All our friends in Australia thought our holiday looked amazing from photos but the actual experience for us is one we won't forget. Thanks for everything Lucas ! The rental experience at Hawaii Surf Campers is absolutely the best. Lucas is very accessible, ready and willing to answer questions and give advice as to where to stay (he provides an annotated googlemap file - very convenient). Lucas is focused on providing great customer service, this includes making sure the van runs properly and is outfitted with all the necessary equipment to enjoy the uncrowded corners of the island. Five stars!! My husband and I travel often, but this trip was one of our favorites in large part because of the camper van. We could see so much more of the island with our hotel on wheels!
