Been taking my 6 year old son for 2 months now and he absolutely loves it! My son is extremely shy but Rob makes him feel very welcomed and comfortable, making his confidence sky rocket! Got my son his own drum kit, with Robs input and was more that willing to help, and from what Ive heard my son play, Rob is an amazing teacher, keeps it all simple in a way you can understand. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing someone develop and progress over time. Especially the ones find rhythm and playing to music a challenge - seeing them start to get their sound together is a real buzz.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I fell into it. I’ve been teaching and performing since I left school - it was a natural progression to do what I do for a living.
Why should our clients choose you?
There are lots of drum teachers around - it’s worth having a look at what you want to do and where you want your journey to take you.
My teaching style is fairly relaxed and my aim is to get students playing to music and feeling and sounding good. Heavy emphasis on recording ones self to progress quicker and learn how they truly sound and not how they think they do.
I get a lot of compliments from students and parents of students who are impressed with how quickly they/their son or daughter has developed under my tuition.
