I needed to clear some ruined items from our attic.  The service was incredibly easy to schedule online.  They also have a flat rate system that makes it easy to know how much it will cost instead of getting quotes from different companies.  The truck arrived early and took less than 20 minutes to load.  The owner came himself and was courteous, hardworking and fair.  I recommend the service and will use them again. The guys showed up on time and handled all our furniture expertly. They got everything in through narrow hallways in an old DC house. Nothing was damaged. I had called to update our reservation when I found the apt building had a loading ramp. It didn't get thru as the crew showed up at the front door. Once loaded we went to our destination. I found HaulPROZ through Thumbtack. I can't say enough good things about this business. They were able to schedule a same-day appointment that worked with my timeframe. They arrived on time and completed the work quickly and even helped me move an extra set of chairs for no charge. They are also much lower in price than similar quotes I received. Lastly, but probably most importantly, I had to call the office to tell them I was running a few minutes behind to meet them at my house and someone answered the phone right away, assured me it was no problem, and let the driver know without me needing to ask. Be aware that when you select your time slot that there is a 2-hour arrival window. My arrival time slot was 10AM-12PM. 10AM passed. ..then 11AM...then 11:30AM...they arrived at 12:30PM, 30 minutes late. I originally was absolute livid because the weather was getting bad and I wanted to leave ASAP (for both my comfort and theirs), but they honestly redeemed themselves by how fast they moved. They loaded the truck with all of the stuff from my bedroom in less than 30 minutes. They moved so fast! I can't imagine doing everything by myself. I want to give them a 3.5 NOT a 4, but Yelp won't let me do that. So the score I'm giving is based on efficiency and service. They definitely get the job done! However, the score isn't as high as I want it to be because of their promptness. That's something they need to work on (for me personally), but I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to a friend and I wouldn't mind using their services again. More...

We used HaulProz for a multi-faceted job that involved moving some heavy furniture inside out house from one room to another, taking old furniture and a freezer to the dump, and taking a borrowed piece of furniture back to its owner. The movers were courteous, puntual, quick, and helped us with a couple of items we hadn't mentioned initially without issue. Moreover, they alerted us to something we hadn't realized that Goodwill might not take certain items if they were too worn, and since we didn't want them to have to dump those too, we opted to hold onto them until we could find someone who could actually use them. Oh, and the price was great, they even reduced it when we mutually decided they wouldn't go to Goodwill due to the uncertainty of them taking the items we originally wanted to go there. More...

HaulPROZ gave me a time and price estimate based on the amount of items I needed to move, and were very accurate. Paying a deposit online prior to the move meant no payment transaction necessary on the day of the move, as they charge the remainder of the fee after the move is complete and to my satisfaction. I used HaulPROZ to move from my 1 bedroom condo to a temporary storage facility. They were on time, polite, professional and very careful with everything. The move took longer than 5 hours due to the amount of walking from my unit to the elevator and then from the elevator to the loading door. As a result the cost was more than the quote. I was informed of the potential additional charges before the move and anticipated them. Mario, Bobby and Doug were the three guys helping with the move. I used HaulPROZ last week for my move from DC to Miami. Man was I in a crunch..I booked movers through another no named company who backed out on me at the last minute.
