I used to be one of those people who would look at a runner and think, 'How do you they do that?. I am now one of those runners. I had never ran before and was welcomed into the group and encouraged. A year on, everyone still encourages everyone else regardless of distance or speed which is really motivating and makes you feel a valued part of this fantastic group-Hatherletes. More...

I joined Hatherletes last summer when I moved to Cheltenham and didn't know anyone. Wednesday mornings are now my favourite time of the week. Great group of women, excellent coaching and a different session every week has encouraged me to enter my first half marathon. Love being part of Hatherletes. Thank you Sarah xx More...

Never did I think I would enjoy running and achieve goals and challenges that I have. Such great laughs, memories and friends. The confidence the group gives me is amazing. What a lovely supportive running group! I started running 16 months ago from a beginners run / walk and I'm now 8 weeks away from running a marathon with these fantastic ladies. It really does not matter what your ability is as Sarah will cater for everyone. We all have a laugh and put the world to rights on our runs and my life wouldn't be anywhere near as enjoyable if it wasn't for this group. More...

The best thing I ever did was to join Hatherletes. A great bunch of ladies of all abilities, friendly and supportive whether you are a total beginner or wanting to improve. Led by Sarah (I may be biased but the best coach ever) you won't regret giving it a try. More...

This is a fantastic, friendly running group led by the wonderful Sarah, a knowledgeable and motivational trainer. Having been unable to run at all, I attended a Hatherletes beginners 10-week course, by the end of which I could run 5km, and a few months later I'm now training for a half-marathon, something I would never have contemplated before. Sarah is great at tailoring the runs to different abilities, while also being great at pushing us to go that little bit further :-) More...

This running group changed my life I joined a few years ago. I now have friends for life and whilst making those friends I am fitter and healthier and from someone who hated road running I have now completed two half marathons have another one coming up and hope to complete the Manchester marathon in April 2016. Sarah Gyles is an inspiration and running with friends makes it so much more enjoyable, no pressure to be a super athlete you just take things at your own pace. More...

Joining a running club is a hugely daunting experience but I can honestly say that Sarah and the group are the most welcoming bunch of girls you could meet. Everyone encourages each other and even when you don't feel like it you leave the session with a huge smile feeling fitter and already looking forward to the next time you all go out again. I feel my confidence has grown after being with the hatherletes for only a few months and I am really looking forward to the future with new friends. If you are reading this thinking all running clubs are for the elite, I promise this is for absolutely all abilities of running, which is down to Sarah's careful planning. Next step for me is a bit of boxing or kettlebells :-) More...

Great if starting out or as an accomplished runner. Sarah has time for everyone, with great motivational talks or tips on technique. I am a ex-runner, starting again after two kids. Sarah is the prefect person to get me going again, (even if in secret I would prefer to be pushed along in a wheelbarrow) More...
