This is a long overdue review for Harry Photo. We used Harry for our engagement, bridal and day of photography. Let me start off by saying that Harry is a professional. He is courteous, respectful, and most importantly, he knows what he is doing. Harry is very creative, innovative and has a unique aesthetic. Everything happens so fast during the wedding that it's still a blur. I'm so happy that Harry not only captured the traditions but also the candid moments. Using Harry Photo was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Harry and his team are very talented and really helped make the whole day run smoothly! We had engagement photos done and Harry spent 6 hours with us going to multiple locations and they turned out awesome!! Harry is awesome! He is always there for you no matter what you want. He listen to all request and talk to me if my request was hard to deal with. I did not have to worry if he was getting the shot because he was always there. He had a lot of creative ideas for shots so my husband and I didn't have to think of anything on the spot. If I added shots he was fine with that. I never heard a negative word from him or anyone he worked with. We had a photo booth as a present to our guest and they enjoyed it immensely. Harry Harjabrata is one of my valuable customers at Allstate whom I have had the pleasure to discuss many topics with. He told me he has a Photography Studio. Not too long ago, we needed someone to take pictures of all of us at our Allstate office in Grapevine. I contacted him, he came to our office, set everything up, helped us to pose and made the day so enjoyable and stress free. Awesome photographer!
Did our engagement and wedding photos. Took wonderful set shots and got phenomenal action shots of the ceremony as well as the party afterwards. I feel like I am there when I flip through my photos!
Not only were the pictures great, but I got 2 CD's with every shot that he took as well as some photos that he edited (did black and white, sepia, etc) that made some of the shots even more special.

Finally, we had contracted for him to make a photo book of our pictures. He was very timely in getting me a rough copy of it to proof. I waited 2.5 years before I got around to looking at it (opened a business and then had a kid...I got distracted) and he still made the photo book available for me to proof and was so quick to respond and get the work done.

If I could do it all again, I would definitely go with Harry again. I recommend for every reason! More...

My daughter got her senior pictures taken by Harry. Alexandra wanted something no one else has seen and we had no idea where to go; all we knew was she did not want to take the pictures in a studio. When I contacted Harry he asked me if I had any ideas and I told him no so he gave us a location and it was AMAZING. (Harry delivered). She had outfit changes and Harry was so kind and patient. Harry was the first vendor we hired and we are so glad we went with him. Harry is amazing. He was so extremely helpful to us. He helped us pick almost all the other vendors based on past experience with them. From our first meeting with him we were so thankful and glad we chose him. He helped us pick our DJ, gave recommendations on cakes, and helped us find our wedding coordinator. I can't say enough about Harry. He is awesome. We ended up with so many great pictures. He also did our uplighting and we decided on using the photo lounge as well. The guests absolutely loved the photo lounge it was an extra expense, but well worth it. I had the pleasure of working with Harry Harjabrata and his wife, Silvia, for our daughter’s December 2012 wedding. We had researched numerous photographers before finding Harry. Harry had been recommended and he did not disappoint. Harry and Silvia arrived at our wedding on time and fully prepared. Harry had numerous cameras and extra flashes at the ready. His experience allowed him to capture important shots in an instant. Having a second photographer allowed them to get great shots from different vantage points. Most of the time I didn’t even notice them taking pictures. During the posed pictures, Harry knew exactly how to pose the wedding party quickly in order to maximize the time. Harry was very calm and easy to work with. I was extremely pleased with his photos, the DVD and the on-line photo gallery. He customized a photo package to meet our needs. Harry did an amazing job not only with my daughter's wedding but her engagement photos and bridal photos. He took his time and got some beautiful shots. The day of the wedding he seemed to be everywhere. He came to our house and got priceless shots of my daughter and her bridesmaids getting ready. Harry took beautiful photos of the wedding itself. Harry also took pictures of the reception venue which I especially appreciated as once there everything was a blur. My favorite thing is the short video Harry made of the wedding day. I did not ask him to do this, he just did it. I have watched it numerous times and just love it. Harry photographed and provided lighting for our wedding at the Aldredge House on Swiss Avenue in Dallas. He did an absolutely fantastic job. We highly recommend getting the engagement session with Harry not only for the pictures, but because you get used to working together. It helps the wedding/reception to go smoothly. The day of the wedding, things went wrong as they always seem to. Our wedding was outside and running late. No problem, Harry had the lighting we needed. During the reception, he was everywhere - we are still not sure how he did it. I (the groom), wasn't super excited about wedding album, but then I saw the pictures. Wow, they are fantastic... and so is the album :-) We highly recommend the canvas print for those one or two special pictures. Get the wrapped canvas as it comes with a backing so it is much more difficult to accidentally damage. Bottom line - if you want a professional, flexible photographer whose fees are very reasonable, look no further.

My wedding was in 2007. Harry was flexible in understanding what I wanted for my big day. He and his helper were there from the beginning to the very end and captured beautiful memories. Not to his fault at all, I finally got my wedding album and it was great. I touched basis with him when I referred him to my brother for his wedding. My husband and I both really enjoyed working with Harry. He was extremely flexible at meeting our pretty limited schedule, got the pictures back to us within two or three weeks of the wedding, and did a great job with both a guest book album and the wedding album. We hired Harry for bridals and a complete wedding day. When interviewing a number of photographers in the Dallas area, Harry's timeliness, extensive set of album / work examples, online gallery and thoughtfulness set him apart from the competitors.

For bridals - Harry arrived at the site early, was very aware of the landscape and best places to shoot. I felt comfortable and confident when he took my pictures and he was open to my requests for including special props that were meaningful to me and my fiance. He sent the proofs and prints I wanted for the wedding reception very quickly!


For the wedding: Harry showed up the night before to check out the space and lighting. Lighting is his specialty and he shot in mid-day sunlight for our first look, dim chapel lighting for our wedding ceremony, ambient lighting for our reception and very dark lighting for our outdoor dancing. I was very nervous about the many different environments and Harry's confidence and experience with lighting really shined through! He brought all the equipment he needed to make frame-able pictures in every single one of the lighting types!


If we had it to do again we would hire Harry in a heartbeat. I was curious how he would do solo with so many different shots we wanted, but he was everywhere all at once and yet never got in the way of the guests and never detracted from the moment.

We are so happy that we went with Harry Photographer for our wedding! He was so easy to work with, very flexible with schedules & planning, and all of the photographs have turned out incredible! My bridal portrait session was a ton of fun, and the pictures turned out so amazing, as did the big prints for the wedding reception! We were very impressed with the Harry being there the day of the wedding from the time the girls were getting ready all the way until the very end of the night when we left! No other photographer would have stayed for that same amount of time without charging a rediculous amount of money for it! While in the beginning stages of planning our wedding, we knew that photography was one thing that we wanted to make sure we didn't waiver on.
